Can a believer not be saved

Diagnosis: We live in a time when confession of what we believe out weighs the action of our heart. We teach one another that just confessing Christ is enough. We have so many different useless tactics and saying such as a sinners prayer. Save people do believe, but people who believe are not necessarily saved.

Objective: To breakdown the difference between being Led to Christ and actually surrendering to Christ .

The misconception of : A lot of people read , and assume that all you have to do is simply say that you believe and God and you are saved. We often neglect the heart piece that is also associated with this verse.

The heart piece is the most meatiest part of this verse, because the heart piece is what makes the confession genuine. When we read this verse Paul says believes starts in the heart than you are declared righteous after that you speak out about the salvation that has already been credit to you . However, the question is what am I speaking out about and what is it that I say I believe. See you can believe that Jesus died and rose, and you can believe that it is only one God, but what Good is that () teaches us that even the demons believe. So here is where the heart part matters because truly saved people not just believe in all the things I just said, but they also surrender to Jesus crowning him as king. The word believe here goes beyond the mere notion to believe in something. It speaks of a person who has trusted in what they claim they believe and then they wholeheartedly put their life in that persons hands. Meaning know longer do I follow my will, but i follow the will of that who I have trusted.
When we look at we see that John says something very interesting when he talks about how people who claimed to be saved or be in the brotherhood walked away, but he says the truth be told they were never with us meaning they never put there trust in Christ.
To put your trust in Christ you must remember who Christ is: Jesus is God, but the question comes down to what function of God is he. Remember, that there are three that bear record in heaven the father, the word, the spirit, and the three agree. Notice it didn’t say son, it said word, and God’s word is truth, which means that everything that the son says is truth. God possess the word the word wasn’t created it is apart of God just like the spirit is a part of God, and it is only one God. Whenever, you pick and choose what you will and will not obey about God then you deny truth and if you deny truth then makes perfect senses. Denying truth means that you haven’t really confessed in what you claimed you believed. Remember I said confession must be genuine at all cost.
