Sermon Tone Analysis

Last time we were teaching on our *Spiritual Authority* and we’re going to pick up from where we left off last time.

*I) **LUKE 10:19.*

*A) **Jesus said* that *we have authority* *over* all the *power or Authority* *of the** **enemy*.

*1) *But we may *not always see** **it** **when we** **1st** **pray* *or* the *moment* when we *1st* *take authority* *over Satan,* *Especially* when it comes to using our authority *over** **our** **finances,* *over a** **sickness,* *over** *the *life style* of a *loved one,* *but** **victory is coming.*

*(a) **1st* of all we should *want** **God’s timing.*

*2) **People* often *ask** **why** **does* it seen to *take so long.*

*(a) **Some things take time,* *for instance* *in* the *area of* *finances,* it’s *going to* *take* some *time* for the *angels* of God *to* *bring in* the *prosperity.*

It *doesn’t* usually *happen over night.*

*(i) *The *Lord* *might* *bless* *you **with* a *good job* and with a *good pay check,* but *that’s just* the *start of prosperity.*

*(If you* *quit* the next week *you’re** **back** **in the** **same place* you were in before.*)*

*(Do** **every thing* that you can to *keep* that *job.)*

*(ii) **Maybe* your *job isn’t paying* you *enough.*

*(If you are** **diligent* in *doing* what is *set before you* *God will promote.**)*

But *again,* *TIME* is *INVOLVED*.

*(b) **God might* *give* you a *good** **investment,* but *again* it’s going to *take time* for that to mature.

*(i) **We always want things** **right** **now*.

*(ii) *Look at *HEB 10:36.*

*(iii) **There are* *many times* *in the Word* of God *that* the *men of God* *waited years* *for** **the** **promise.*

*(iv) **(Hebrews 6:12)* says, *“That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”*

*3) **When you pray* and *believe* God *and* *use* your *authority* *over the enemy,* *it’s done in the spirit,* *but* *it **takes time* to *manifest* *in the** **natural,* *that’s where** **Patience** **comes in.*

*(a) **Now,* you do *have to** **use WISDOM,* you *can’t be foolish.*

*(i) *You *can’t drink arsenic* on purpose *and* *expect* to *walk in health.*

*(ii) **You** **can’t* *get hired* *and* *QUIT** **JOBS* *or* *be** **lazy* on the Job *and* *expect God* *to prosper** **you.*

*(iii) *You need to *do everything* you can *to** **keep** that **job* *and* *work hard* so that *God will see you faithful* *and* *promote** **you.*

*4) **But* *there is* *something else* that *you need to do.* *WE NEED TO BE DOING THE WILL OF GOD*

*(a) *Go back with me to *HEB 10:36.*

*(i) **If** **we** **want** **God* *to **bless us* *and* *if we want* to *have** **victory* *over* the *Devil* *continuously**,* *we have to** **do* what *the Word* of God tells us to do.

*We* have to *be** **doers of the Word.*

*(ii) **We have to* *walk in WISDOM* *and* *DO WHAT THE WORD SAYS.*

*(b) **We* *can’t expect* to have *God’s best* *when He** tells us* *how to give,* *how to live* and *how to love,* *but don’t do it.*

*5) **LUKE 11:28.*

*(a) **The word* *“BLESSED”* *here* *means* *happy,* *but it* *also **refers to* *“FREEDOM,”* *FREEDOM FORM BONDAGE.*

*(i) **In 1 instance* the *ruler of the synagogue* was *upset* that *Jesus* was *healing** **on** the **Sabbath* *day.*

*Jesus said,* in *(Luke 13:16)* *“And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom SATAN HATH BOUND, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?”*

*(ii) **Satan brings bondage’s.*

*(iii) *But *Jesus said,* *“If you hear my words and keep them, then you are Blessed, Happy and Free.”*

*(b) *Turn to *James 1:22-25 *(I’m going to read it from the *NIV, *but try to follow along with me.) 22 *“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves.

Do what it says.

23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.

25 But the man who looks intently into the perfect law (that is the Word of God) that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does.”*

*NIV*

*(i) **James** **is** **telling us* that *if* *we are a doer of the Word* *we **will be BLESSED**,* *HAPPY**,* and *FREE**.*

*(ii) *(Already read) Paul said basically the same thing in *(Hebrews 10:36) **“For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.”*

*B) *So *you might be asking, **“Why haven’t we received the blessings of God yet?”*

*1) **1st* of all, *we know* that *God wants us to have **His** **promises.*

*(2 Corinthians 1:20) **“For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.”*

*(a) *But *sometimes* *when* *we don’t receive* the *promises* *it’s because* we are *not a doer of the Word.*

*2) **There are some** **spiritual laws** **in place,* just *like* the *natural laws* *like* the *Law of Gravity.*

*(a) *It *Law of Gravity* is a *blessing** **to you* if you abide by it, *but* it *can give you* a lot of *problems* *if* *you* *don’t take heed to it’s warnings.*

*(b) **The* *Word* *of God* is the *same way,* *but* it a *spiritual law.*

*If we keep* *and* *do** **the Word,* *we’ll reap it’s blessings,* *but* *we’re** **going to have** **problem* *if we don’t* *keep it.

(*Not just part of it, *don’t** **pick and choose* *what you’re going to keep* and what you’re not going to do.

Be a doer of All of God’s Word*.)*

*3) **But* the *other reason* why we *don’t have things** **NOW,* *is that it might* *not be the right timing.*

*(a) **Example:* I believe that God wants us to have a *larger building* so that we can minister to more people.

But we have to *find* *God’s timing,* if we *stepped out too soon* *(not* in God *perfect timing)* it could *ruin the Church*.

The *right time will come.*

*(b) **Even when* *we think* the *timing* is *now,* it still *might not be* the *Lord’s timing*.

*II) **But** **pastor,* *my spouse* is *not saved* and I’ve been *praying for* him for *years.*

*Doesn’t God want him saved NOW?*

*A) **Yes,* he does.

*(2 Corinthians 6:2)* Says, *“Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”*

*1) *The *2nd* *reason* *things don’t happen* *immediately* is because of the *Satanic forces** **trying** **to** **stop** the **move of God* *and* *His promises from getting through.*

*(a) **That why we** **not only** **have to** **ask in faith,* *but** **we* *also* have to *keep on standing in faith.*

*(b) **(1 Peter 5:9)* Tells us to *RESIST Satan steadfast in the faith.*

*(i) *The *verb* *and* the *tense* *of this V* *tells us* that we are to *RESIST,* *OPPOSE,* *and* *COME AGAINST SATAN,* *CONTINUOUSLY.*

*(Not* talking about *every minute,* but *don’t give up on* using your *authority.)*

*2) *Look at *EPH 6:12.*

*(a) **These* *demonic spirits* *are the* *reason** **why* *we* *don’t see* *the* *answer* *to our prayer* *sooner*.

*B) *Turn to *EZE 28:2.*

*1) **Here* *we see* the *“Prince of Tyrus”* *God says* that *he is a man.*

*2) *Now go down to *EZE 28:11-12.*

*(a) **Now* *the Word* of the Lord *came for* the *“**KING** of Tyrus.”*

*(i) **2 different beings* and this being *must* *have been* a *powerful demonic being* *AND* *probably* *the wicked spirit* that was *over that city* to *stop* the *Will of God.*

*(ii) *And *really,* this *demonic spirit* *is **Satan.*

*(b) *Look at *EZE 28:13-15.*

*(c) *The *main thing* that *I wanted you to see* is that there are *demonic Spirits* that *are over cities* and there *main purpose* is to *stop the move of God.*

*3) *Look at *DAN 10:2-3,* *10-13.*

*(a) **Demonic spirits* *are out** **there** **trying** **to stop God from moving.*

*(b) *We need to *stand our ground,* *Keep Believing God,* *and* *use* our *authority* *over the enemy.*

*4) **God** **has** **such a** **love for us* *and* *He** **so much **wants us** **to** **have His promises** **and** **blessings.*

*(a) **Victory is coming.*

*(b) **WHEN?* *I don’t know,* *that’s why we** have **need** of **Patience.*

*(c) **Stand your ground** **against the devil,* *Victory is on the way.*
