WE: IDENTIFICATION (MAKE IT CLEAR THAT YOU STRUGGLE)
This is a rough time for us.
We have cabin fever, may be bored, and fearful because of what we hear.
GOD: ILLUMINATION (THE GOAL IS TO RESOLVE THE TENSION
)
37 As he was drawing near—already on the way down the Mount of Olives—the whole multitude of his disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen, 38 saying, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” 39 And some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” 40 He answered, “I tell you, if these were silent, the very stones would cry out

I Prophecy fulfilled ( Kong of kings ,sone of God.
Role of a Donkey
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!
Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your king is coming to you;
righteous and having salvation is he,
humble and mounted on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
(ESV)
a. This was how a King entered Jerusalem.
b. Prophecy pronouncing the King of Kings.
c. Jesus the Messiah, Kingdom of God
* flesh this out with last series.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,[a]
on earth as it is in heaven.
(ESV)
B.The Kingdom of God…
But while the background is regal, the ride on a humble animal denotes not a Messiah of raw power, but of humility and service.
Behold, your king is coming to you;
righteous and having salvation is he,humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
(ESV)
C. Jesus used images and their understand of religious holidays to pull together what he is saying.
Luke lacks any mention of palm branches, possibly because this imagery is decidedly Jewish and complex.
a.His audience might not understand.
Normally one expected the waving of branches at the Feast of Tabernacles, but this is the Passover. Tabernacles looked forward to the end times, while Passover pictured both the sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins and the final deliverance. This combination is instructive, for Jesus brings both1
D.End time Prophecy
4 On that day his feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by a very wide valley, so that one half of the Mount shall move northward, and the other half southward. 5 And you shall flee to the valley of my mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal. And you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him

Disciples started the people followed along and in a few days they screamed different words.
We have to make a choice!
Who is Jesus?
II. We find ourself in a strange place.
Jesus pronounces judgement to IsraelIf these words were understood it might have ruined the party.He wept
Future judgement when we stand before the judgement seat of Christ
41 And when he drew near and saw the city, he wept over it, 42 saying, “Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. 43 For the days will come upon you, when your enemies will set up a barricade around you and surround you and hem you in on every side 44 and tear you down to the ground, you and your children within you. And they will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”

We have to make a choice!
Who is Jesus?
III.Virus choice.
* We are ready to worship Christ today and shout Praise.,but we feeling like the stones will have to sing out because no one hears.
*God hear our praise but the world does not hear new praise.
* Prophets have spoken and Israel understands these words but they don”t see Jesus as the Christ.
* Every day when we choose to live in fear we choose something else.
* When we allow media and other sources to tell us who we are we choose against Christ.
YOU: APPLICATION (TELL PEOPLE WHAT TO DO AND WHAT THEY HAVE HEARD)
Conclusion:
Who is Jesus?
This choice sets your future ( from that moment on.)
States who you listen too and who you follow.
May the steps in our faith journey be in Christ our savior and Lord.
