The Story of the Triumphant entry

Luke 19:40 ESV
He answered, “I tell you, if these were silent, the very stones would cry out.”

Why was the praise so emphatic.

They knew the promises about the Christ.
They knew that Jesus met all the requirements to be their salvation
They knew that Christ was the embodiment of the living God and would deliver them from their captors.
What they didn’t know was that their captor wasn’t the Romans. They were “a” captor, but not “the” captor.
But in this day I want to say that we are captives in our houses or communities, to a sickness and some policies. However, we are not defeated and in fact, our salvation is right now… because he is coming on a colt to rescue us. Yes from “a” captor, but more importantly, “the” captor.

His Steadfast Love Endures Forever

V 1-9 The Lord is with me.

Who Testifies

Those who are God’s Chosen People - yes you.
Those who are assigned to proclaim who he is… yes you.
Those who fear the Lord… if that’s not you, well, you should.

He answers.

We can look the enemy square in the eye and fearlessly proclaim our victory.

v. 14-18 The Lord is My Strength and Salvation

He has became my salvation… When

When I cried to the Lord.
Psalm 18:4–6 ESV
The cords of death encompassed me; the torrents of destruction assailed me; the cords of Sheol entangled me; the snares of death confronted me. In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God I cried for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears.
:4-6

The Moment of Our Salvation becomes and Shout that screams for the rest of our life.

The Lord’s right Hand

Mighty things
Lifted high.... exalted because he rescued us with his might not ours.
Mighty things.

v. 19-24 The Truth of the Matter

This is gate of the Lord...... What is?

The walking in paths of righteousness
The giving of thanks

This is the day the Lord has made.. What is?

This day..... YES.... this day.

His Truth vs. Man’s Truth

This world has a lot of deceivers out there, but His truth rings true.
Proverbs 14:12 ESV
There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.
Galatians 6:7 ESV
Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.
Galatians 6:7 ESV
Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.
There is a day coming and may well be here where we have to choose the truth of man vs. the truth of God and His word. It will be tricky.
proverbs 14:12
Galatians 6:7 ESV
Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.
There is a day coming and may well be here where we have to choose the truth of man vs. the truth of God and His word. It will be tricky.
Proverbs 14:12 ESV
There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.
In the end though we walk through His gate… it is narrow but we can find it and enter in.
Matthew 7:13–14 ESV
“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
Mt
Now of course, we find it simply by making Christ our whole foundation. He is our source, our provider, our strength.... any substitute is simply insufficient. the gate is entered in by choice. He calls us. Do we answer yes or do we choose to rest on the leading of our instincts and the instincts of other men.

Action and Prayer

In all things we give thanks
In all situations we proclaim, “His steadfast loves endures forever.
It is solid and we cannot be separated by it.
It never stops. It is eternal.
In the end there will be 3 that remain… faith, hope, and love… and the greatest of these is love.
In all things we Rejoice
His Steadfast Love Endures Forever
He is with us.
He is our strength
His truths ring so true that all after so called truths are lies.
So we pray...
for our salvation and rescue form everything that binds.
we pray for success that our current situations and trials do not defeat us but instead we look up to our rescuer.. Jesus Christ.
We thank you that you give us the light of your word and inspire and bless us in all things.
You are our God and we are yours. He humbly bow to your altar and lift you up.
We thank you that you are good and your love endures forever.
