       Communion is for N.T. believers. It's a privilege & a blessing for t believer.

       I. JOHN 6:53–61; 66

                 A. The Jews knew that it was wrong for them to be a part in cannibalism. They thought this is what Jesus is talking about. But, as it was so often, He was misunderstood.

                             1. ¿What did Jesus mean by eating His Flesh & drinking His Blood, or the symbol of eating His Flesh & drinking His Blood?

                 B. 1st of all in (MAR 14:22-24) It says, “And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake {it}, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body. (23) And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave {it} to them: and they all drank of it. (24) And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.”

                             1. Bread (symbol of body)

                             2. Drink of t cup (symbol of t blood)

                             3. In JOHN 6:35a (read) ¿What does He mean?...

                                         a. In other words, by us partaking of the bread, it is a symbol that we are coming to Him.

                 C. In JOHN 6:35b It says...

                             1. Thirst has to do w/ drinking from the fruit of the vine, which is a symbol of the blood of Jesus.

                                         a. In (JOHN 3:35) Jesus is associating drinking of the wine or grape juice, with believing on Him.

                             2. ¿What did Jesus mean by “We shall never hunger & we shall never thirst?”

                                         a. JOHN 6:54 .....
