Last time we were talking about Jesus confessing t Word of God & by Him confessing God’s Word it would produce faith. (ROM 10:17) Says, “So then faith {cometh} by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

     I. Let’s look at JOHN 12:47-50 again today.

              A. Jesus spoke t words of His Father; when He did it caused faith to come on the inside of Him.

                        1. Faith that is in God’s Word, gets into your spirit when you speak it.

                        2. What you speak about yourself will affect your health, your finances, your social life, t way other people see you, every area.

                                  a. T Word of God is more powerful in your life when you hear it spoken out of your mouth.

                                            i. Words will affect you more when they are spoken out of your mouth.

ii. Jesus said in (MAT 12:34), “For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” (KJV)

                                  b. What you speak out is what you believe. It will affect you much more if you already believe it in your heart than if you hear something for t 1st time.

                                           i. Sure some faith will come if you here me speak t Word, But even more will come if you speak it out of your mouth.

ii. That’s why God told Joshua in (JOSH 1:8), “Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth.”

iii. If you went around speaking everything God said, you would get highly developed in t God kind of Faith.

II. God created us w/ 2 sets of ears, an OUTER & an INNER EAR.

              A. You hear yourself speak w/ your inner ear.

                        1. Your voice is picked up by your inner ear & feeds directly into your human spirit.

                                  a. Your spirit needs to HEAR t Word of God.

                        2. PRO 3:3

                                  a. How are you going to write things on t table of your heart (or spirit)?

                                  b. (PSA 45:1) Says, “My tongue {is} the pen of a ready writer.” (KJV)

              B. Lets put some of these things together.

                        1. God told Joshua, “Don’t let t Word depart out of your mouth. Meditate therein day & night. Observe to do all that is written therein. Then you will make your way prosperous.”

                        2. DEUT 28:1-2

                                  a. T word “HEARKEN” means to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; declare, X diligently, discern, give ear, (cause to, let, make to) hear (-ken, tell), X indeed, listen, make (a) noise, (be) obedient, obey, perceive, (make a) proclaim (-ation), publish, regard, report, shew (forth), (make a) sound, X surely, tell, understand, whosoever [heareth], witness.

                                  b. In other words it means, to diligently & intelligently listen, & to declare.

                        3. Faith will come to you much more quickly & have a much more powerful effect in your life when you speak it out of your mouth.

                        4. JAMES 1:26

                                  a. (NIV) (JAM 1:26) “If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless.”

                                  b. T word “deceiveth means “to cheat, i.e., delude: - deceive.”

                                           i. We’re causing our spirits to be deceived by not bridling our tongue.

ii. In other words, we’re cheating our spirits by not confessing t Word of God.

                                                     a. T tongue will deceive t heart if we’re not confessing t right thing.

     III. MARK 4:14

              A. What is t man sowing?  WORDS

                        1. This V is specifically talking about t Word of God.

                        2. T Bible calls t Word of God t INCORRUPTIBLE SEED.

                                  a. (1PE 1:23) Says, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” (KJV)

                                  b. If there is an incorruptible seed then there is a corruptible seed.

                                           i. T incorruptible seed is t Word of God & t corruptible seed would be everything that is contrary to t word of God.

ii. But there is a Parallel between t Word & every other word.

iii. That means that every word your speak is a seed.

Iv. That doesn’t mean that you will always have t harvest of what you planted.  You can do things to stop t harvest. Like confessing t Word of God then, confessing t problem again.

              B. MARK 4:15

                        1. T Word is sown in t heart of man.

                        2. MARK 4:26-28

                                  a. Jesus said, “So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;” (KJV)  (V 26)

                                  b. Jesus said in (LUK 17:21), “The kingdom of God is within you.” (KJV)

                                           i. You are t man that is casting t seed into t ground or t Words into t ground.

ii. Those words are going to begin to grow. Look at V 27.

                        3. Words are seeds, in your life & in t lives of others, so plant carefully.

           C. Look at ROM 10:8

                       1. This V tells me 3 things concerning confession.

                       2. 1st it says that t Word is in your mouth.

                                  a. That tells me that we are to be confessing t Word of God, speaking it out of your mouth. (JOSH 1:8)

                       3. & 2nd it says that it is in your mouth & in your heart.

                                  a. That tells me, If it’s in your heart it will be in your mouth.

                                  b. (MAT 12:34) Says, “For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” (KJV)

                       4. & 3rd it tells me t importance to put it in your mouth, so that it will be in your heart.

                                  a. ROM 10:17

IV. Speaking t Word of God does several things.

             A. When you speak t Word of God out of your mouth, then you are planting seeds.

                       1. & t more you speak t Word, t more you believe it. T more you believe it, t more you speak it.

                       2. 2COR 4:13

                                  a. I like it how t NIV puts it (2CO 4:13) It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak, (NIV)

                                  b. It is believed that Paul was quoting an O.T. scripture in (PSA 116:10) which says in t KJV, “I believed, therefore have I spoken:”

                                           i. Paul said, “We also believe, and therefore speak; (KJV)

                                  c. To say it one more time, “What you believe, you will speak. If you believe t Word, you will speak it. If you speak it, you will believe it, & if you believe it you’ll speak it.”

                                           i. This is God’s cycle for producing faith as well as planting seed for harvest.

ii. This is t way that you get t process going. It’s in your mouth & it’s in your heart.

             B. Jesus said in (MAR 4:26) That the kingdom of God, is as if a man should cast seed into the ground; (KJV)

                       1. You need to understand this that God is not sowing seed for you.

                                  a. He said a man should cast seed into t ground.

                                  b. Your harvest depends on your seeds sown.

                       2. T earth does not produce anything good to eat by itself. You have to force it to produce things good to eat.

                                  a. Other wise, all you will get are weeds.

                                  b. You have to do t planting of good seed.

                       3. There are times that we have unwanted seeds.

                                  a. Unwanted seeds are statements of doubt & unbelief.

                                  b. Things like, “Everything I do ends up a mess.”

                                           i. “Everything I do turns out bad.” Or, “It’s flu seasons. I’ll probably catch it.”

      V. When Adam & Eve were created they were placed in t Garden of Eden. It supplied them w/ everything they needed.

             A. But Adam sold out to Satan, & Satan became t God of This World.

                       1. Through t work of Jesus we can now have God’s best again.

                       2. T born again spirit which God has placed on t inside of you is a garden which will produce everything you need in this life.

                                  a. 1COR 3:9

                                  b. T word “husbandry” means “Field or Garden

                                  c. You are God’s garden & that garden will produce everything that you will need.

             B. (GEN 2:15) And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. (KJV)

                       1. T words “dress it means “to work it, labour over it, to till it.

                       2. & t words “Keep it” means to “guard it, protect it, & to attend to it.

                                  a. T Lord is telling us to labour over & till our heart, to keep it, guard it, protect it, & to attend to it.

                                  b. To speak out things like, “Everything that I do is a failure,” is planting t wrong seeds in that garden.

                       3. PSA 141:3

                                  a. We need to guard our heart.

                                  b. Don’t let t things that are contrary to t Word of God come out of our lips, but speak t Word of God.
