We live with a constant bully. It regularly beats up our friends and family. We try to cover up the bruises of our hearts with makeup, but it is simply a cover-up. In reality, we live in a broken world that often leaves us despairing. Who is this bully? Sin, suffering, death. Paul reminds us that in Jesus Christ we have already won the victory. May we look to Christ and praise God from who our victory comes.
