For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; while we look not at things which are seen, but at things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. ( 2 Corinthians 4:16–18 )

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.… Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord.… We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. ( 2 Corinthians 5:1 , 6 , 8–9 )

I heard a voice from heaven, saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them. ( Revelation 14:13 )

Benediction: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Committal:

Earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust; but the spirit is with God who gave it. And we look for the resurrection of the dead, the general resurrection in the last day, and the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, according to His promise who was dead and is alive forevermore.

"And now, I commend you to God, and the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified," Acts 20:32

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, we ask you to heal the broken hearts and to give peace and comfort to your children. Continue to show us how to trust you. Reveal to each of us the hope that we have of eternal life with you. And we pray this now in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, amen.
