I Am the way, the truth and the life.

John 14 begins amid an emotionally trying time; Jesus brings comfort. Please stop and think about this. Jesus is about to go to the cross, and he is putting the disciple's need of comfort ahead of himself. God's wrath is about to be cured out on him for our sin and for the sin of these very disciples, and yet he reaches out in compassion to them. Jesus offers hope to the troubled heart proves we can trust Him and reveals that he is the only way, the only truth, and the only life.
