Probably the most well-known reference. But not necessarily done during the entombment of His body. There were 40 days during which He saw the disciples at various times, but not constantly.
HOWEVER - “preach” here is really a proclamation or official announcement, not in a sense of evangelism. “This is what I’ve done!” And to a specific group of sinners, i.e. Noah’s generation, to whom reference is made when the speaker wishes to say how bad someone is.

Nor is the phrase here ‘preached the Gospel’ (evangelizo), but ‘heralded’ (ekeruxe) or ‘preached’; but simply made the announcement of His finished work; so the same Greek in Mk 1:45, ‘publish,’ confirming Enoch and Noah’s testimony, and thereby declaring the virtual condemnation of their unbelief, and the salvation of Noah and believers;

“preach” here IS the evangelistic kind. Being in aorist tense, it was a one-time event - “it happened”. When was this? On face value, it couldn’t have been before Jesus’ death, because the event that enabled the “good news” hadn’t yet happened. However, in eternity, chronology is non-existent - there is no “time” as such, so at any “moment” in our eyes someone could have gone to Sheol/Hades to preach. And since every human is judged regarding the flesh (i.e. died) , and that because of sin, who else would preach to them but the One who DIDN’T sin?
And the preaching was obviously done BEFORE Peter wrote this - it WAS preached
