Against the naysayers

A. God can’t be divorced from disaster: God is sovereign. Providence (preservation/concurrence/goverment)
B. God can’t be discredited by disaster: Moral argument of C. S. Lewis
C. God can’t be defined by disaster: What did you say of God when you’re in peace? Why suddenly God? Deus ex machina.
D. God cannot be define defeated by disaster: Evil is instrumentally good.

What to Learn

A. Disasters teach us to repent our sin.
B. Disasters teach us to reflect on God’s goodness.
C. Disasters teach us to respond to the hurting.
D. Disasters teach us to rely on God’s presence and His powers.
