Today, we’re going to get into a different area. For the last few weeks we have been teaching on “Our Spiritual Authority.” Today I want to minister onBringing God into our Life.”

     I. Believers today are in the midst of the greatest manifestation of God that the World has ever seen.

              A. God’s Word is working mighty and the people of God are truly on the move.

                        1. It says in (Daniel 11:32), “The people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” KJV

                                  a. The people of God are beginning to rise up in a new POWER, in a new AUTHORITY, and in a new BOLDNESS in the things of the Lord that has never been seen before.

                        2. But we need to guard against a LETHARGIC Spirit from creeping in. (I’m not talking about being lazy, even though we need to guard against that, but when I say “GUARD AGAINST A LETHARGIC SPIRIT,” I’m talking more about an ATTITUDE.)

                                  a. A LETHARGIC ATTITUDE can creep into the church which brings doubt and unbelief, and that can rip the power right out from under the church.

                                  b. We must remain strong in the Lord and give God’s Word 1st place in every area of our lives.

                        3. Why is this so important now?

                                  a. Because it’s time for MIRACLES. (It’s time for the miraculous, it’s time for the Glory of God to be poured out, it’s time for revival, it’s time for the move of the HS, it’s time for salvation’s and it’s time for sick to be miraculously Healed.)

              B. The Bible records a prayer that was inspired by the HS which the people in the early church prayed concerning miracles.

                        1. As a result of there prayer, the HS moved like never before.

                                  a. Let’s look at their prayer. ACTS 4:29-30

                                           i. Do you think that these early Christians got God’s attention?

ii. Of course they did, you can see that in the next V.

                                  b. ACTS 4:31

                                  c. I believe that we can get the same results these early Christians did, IF we pray like they did.

                                           i. Some people will say, “Well, you never know when God is going to move that way.”

ii. Well the Word of God tells me in (Hebrews 13:8) “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” KJV

iii. What he did for them, He is willing to do for us now.

                        2. The only thing that is going to stop God from working in our behalf is DOUBT and UNBELIEF.

                                  a. The more you get into the Word and study it the more you’ll see God’s willingness to minister to your needs.

                                           i. To heal your bodies, to prosper you, to bring deliverance to your mind, to set you free from bondages.

                        3. Turn with me to 2CHRON 16:9

                                  a. God is intently looking for people that He can show Himself strong in their behalf.

                                           i. The Living Bible says this, (2 Chronicles 16:9) “For the eyes of the Lord search back and forth across the whole earth, looking for people whose hearts are perfect toward him, so that he can show his great power in helping them. What a fool you have been! From now on you shall have wars.” TLB

                                  b. But there is a prerequisite to that.

                                           i. Both the KJV and the Living Bible saysWhose heart is perfect toward him.”

ii. Is your heart perfect or A better way to say it isAre you right with the Lord?”

iii. We always need to be judging ourselves, and lining our lives up with the Word of God. And listening to the voice of the HS to see if there is something that we are doing that is not pleasing to the Lord that we need to change.

                                  c. But there is another away to look at this V. in (2CHRON 16:9)

                                           i. When the KJV says, “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.” THE NIV says, “Whose hearts are fully committed to him.” (2 Chronicles 16:9)

ii. If you’re fully committed to Him, then you’re going to be fully committed to His Word and fully committed to being a doer of the Word.

iii. Then God will show Himself strong in your life and He’ll bring you to the other side of your situation and He’ll bring you into Victory.

              C. PRAYER is going to be a big part in receiving our miracle.

                        1. Back in (ACTS 4:29-30) which we looked at earlier, The Spirit of God began to move mightily when the people prayed.

                                  a. If we want to see miracles in our lives, in the lives of our brothers and sisters, and miracles in the churches and in our church, we’re going to have to press in and pray.

     II. Turn to 2CHRON 7:14

              A. In this V God said that He would heal their land, and if He did it for them He’ll do it for us.

                        1. I think that we can all agree that our land needs healing.

                                  a. But again there are some things that we need to do.

                        2. 1st He says, “If my people, which are called by my name.”

                                  a. The healing of our land is going to take place through the righteous. You and I (Those that are called by His name) are the ones that God is going to flow through to bring healing to the land.

                                           i. The people of the land don’t have to get saved 1st before God does something miraculous.

ii. In (GEN 18:20) God was going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, but Abraham prayed and God was going to spare the cities if there were on 10 righteous.

iii. God responded to the prayer of 1 man. How much more will he respond to the prayers of His church?

                        3. According to (2CHRON 7:14) in order for God to heal our land, it’s going to take the church toHumble themselves, and pray, and seek the Lord’s face, and turn from their wicked ways.”

                                  a. What is it that we are to pray for? What is it that is going to heal our land?

                                           i. MONEY? JOBS? The SICK being HEALED? Those in POVERTY brought to PROSPERITY? Those in DEPRESSION brought into JOY?

ii. What is it that is going to heal our land and our nation? LET’S NOT THINK SO MUCH IN THE NATURAL, but the SPIRITUAL.

                                  b. What is it that is going to heal our land?

                                           i. The only thing that is going to make a lasting change in our land is for the GLORY OF GOD TO BE POURED OUT ON ALL FLESH and the SPIRIT OF REVIVAL to move across the U. S.

                                  c. If the GLORY of God is poured out and REVIVAL takes place then there is going to be prosperity in the land, the sick will be healed, the hungry will be feed, and those in bondage will be set free.

                                           i. But we need an outpouring of God’s GLORY 1st, we need the Spirit of REVIVAL to take place in the land.

ii. HOW DO WE GET IT?

                        4. If my people, which are called by my name, would humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways (The ways of the world); then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (The Glory of the Lord will be poured out and revival will take place.)

                                  a. The 2 main points in that V is PRAY and SEEK MY FACE.

                                  b. On Thursday nights we’re going to be doing different things, as the Lord leads.

                                           i. Some nights we’re going to be preaching and teaching the Word of God, Some Thursdays we’re going to be having healing services, some nights we’re going to be having Praise and worship services and there are going to be those nights that we only pray and intercede for the GLORY and for REVIVAL.

ii. 1 Commentary that I have says this about (2CHRON 7:14) “If my people ... shall humble themselves ... and turn from their wicked ways; then will I ... heal their land. This great verse, the best known in all Chronicles, expresses as does no other in Scripture God’s requirement for national blessing, whether in Solomon’s land, in Ezra’s, or in our own. Those who believe must forsake their sins, turn from the life that is centered in self, and yield to God’s word and will. Then, and only then, will heaven send revival.”

iii. Revival has just begun, let’s pray it through. You haven’t seen anything yet.
