We will pause on the Gospel of John to give way to an important lesson today
For almost a week John taught us the doctrine on salvation— How may I be save? Who may be saved? Why do we need a Savior? and what do I have to believe about Jesus?
One must be “born again” to be saved— born of water and Spirit— Salvation is only by grace through Jesus— God loves you unconditionally— Jesus came not to reject but to reconcile— we need Jesus to avoid eternal condemnation— because he is the light of the world— the truth and the life
After knowing this very important theology that has eternal impact on you and
everyone else— I must give you the chance to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior— and in doing so, to teach you how you may easily share this life changing and soul saving message
How to Share the Gospel?
The Bible has everything you need to share the Gospel— it is very rich in knowledge and truth— but God’s message to mankind may be summarized in a short story— and that is the story that I am going to share with you today
The title of the story is “The Romans Road”— your road to salvation
The ABC of Salvation begins with a question and ends with a question:
Do you ACCEPT that you are a sinner?
Do you BELIEVE that Jesus Christ was crucified, died and resurrected as forgiveness of your sins?
Will you CONFESS by your mouth that Jesus is your Savior?
There is no cut straight way to present the Gospel— it could happen in manny different approaches depending on the situation
But to master this Roman’s Road— ABC to salvation will give you great confidence in sharing your faith— offering salvation to anyone at anytime!
Here’s the story—
BOOK
BOOK
In the beginning man was with God— [MAN GOD]
but because of “sin”— man was separated from God [draw a cliff]
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
God sent His Son— [draw the name of Jesus]
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Jesus was crucified, He died, was buried— but resurrected on the the 3rd day [draw a cross]
8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Jesus is the only way to the Father— everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved
13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
And then after sharing that short story— you may ask the ABC
It is not enough for us to believe— we must— we are commissioned to share what we believe— in Jesus said…
