Our Appropriate Attitude In Every Circumstance
Our Appropriate Attitude In Every Circumstance
Humility
Humility
Humble Accept Everything As From Him: allow self to be brought low.
God ordains everything that comes to pass. That includes the bad.
10 But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. Shall we receive good from God, and shall we not receive evil?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.
So Choose to see his hand in your circumstances and Submit to them. Turn your heart to him.
Accept from him what he brings about in your life trusting that it’s for your good.
Illustration: the Israelites resented Moses when Pharoah doubled their work load, they despised what God was doing. They weren’t humbled under his mighty hand. His mighty hand is working out your deliverance. He is causing all things to bring about your deliverance.
27 And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; his kingdom shall be an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.’
Read:
-Don’t seek to exalt yourself, don’t fight for your rights. Allow God to bring it about in his timing. Entrust yourself to God.
Cast you anxieties on him.
To Humble yourself means to cast your cares on him. To worry is pride because I’m taking the concerns on myself instead of trusting God.
Why?: He Cares for you.
10 On you was I cast from my birth, and from my mother’s womb you have been my God.
22 Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.

Satan will take advantage of your worry and concerns to do damage to your soul. Unless you actively turn to Christ in difficulty you leave yourself open for satan to “devour” you!
