How will Jesus return?

How will Jesus return?
John declares, emphatically, “Behold, He is coming with the clouds!” Revelation is not the only place this is noted. After Jesus’ resurrection He appeared to His disciples and others for 40 days, He then left the earth, not to return until a later time.
Luke records in records how Jesus left and how He will return. Read . While the disciples were gazing, two men dressed in white robes, presumably angels, stood next to them and asked them why they were staring. They then declared, “This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven” (). John was there when Christ was taken into the clouds and left the earth.
Some see this as the pre-rapture event and others have said John is referring to Jesus’ second coming. I deal with the theories of the so-called rapture event in another video, please watch that one for more insight. I do lean towards Jesus returning before the events of Revelation unfold, however I do lend plausibility to Jesus coming for His Church during the events. There is strong Scripture to support both, and very little, if any, to support Jesus’ first returning for His Church after the events of the apocalypse (I would even dare to say none).
Paul discusses this event in as well. Please watch my video on that to see more about what else will happen during this time.
When will He come? Two things you need to know:
The first is, we do not know. Jesus says in only the Father knows the day and hour. We also read earlier in Acts how it is not for us to know. If we knew, the Church would look a lot different. Could you imagine if you knew it was not going to be for a hundred years from now? How many would see it as a waste of timing telling others about Christ, go to church, or even believe if they knew He was not going to return anytime soon? They would be more preoccupied with just trying to make it through this life. And then to remove the hope that He might return in their lifetime. Every generation has been awaiting Jesus’ return.
Second, does give us a clue. (Read ). Jesus will come as a thief in the night and believers will not be surprised or unaware. As Paul notes there will be peace and then “sudden” destruction, like labor pains.
Where He will return? There is no strong evidence to support where Jesus will return, but if you think for a moment where the most likely place would be what would you say? (Pause) Right, Jerusalem. If we want to be more specific in guessing, you could say He would return to the Mount of Olivet (or Olives) in Bethany. This is referenced at the end of the Gospel of Luke and .
I leave you with this, Jesus is returning and every eye will see Him return. There is no evidence that Christians will disappear as some claim. This will be a worldwide and amazing event. And how will all know? What are you looking at now or what do browse daily? Social Media and Technology.
Please know Christ came out of His love for you, He died for you sins and He is returning for those whom have placed their hope in Him.
