After Jesus did many miracles, signs, and wonders He came riding humbly on a donkey, where people made Him King over the Jews. Jesus Triunphal Entry was a fullflied prophecy that the Pharisees knew and sought to silence the disciples, but even then they had no power to do so because it was the timing of God for Jesus to be glorified as the true Messiah. Unfortunately, the people refused to accept Jesus as the true King and failed to recognize the timing of God. The day of their salvation.

Jesus Comes to Jerusalem as King

Jesus time had come after He has done great miracles, signs, and wonders.
He resurrected Lazarus
Healed blind Bartimaeus
Jesus salvation came to the house of a sinner named Zacchaeus
The people thought the kingdom of God was going to appear at once.
Jesus taught the parable of the Ten Minas
Meaning that He was going away first then going to return.

The Pharisees Plot

The Pharisees began plotting how they might kill Jesus and that any news or information of Jesus whereabouts were to be reported.
The High Priest however prophesied that “its better that one man die for the entire nation than a whole nation perish” without him knowing it.

God’s Timing

It was time for Jesus to come to Jerusalem to come and be exalted by the disciples as the true King and Messiah.
Luke 19:28–44 NIV
28 After Jesus had said this, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. 29 As he approached Bethphage and Bethany at the hill called the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, saying to them, 30 “Go to the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. 31 If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it.’ ” 32 Those who were sent ahead went and found it just as he had told them. 33 As they were untying the colt, its owners asked them, “Why are you untying the colt?” 34 They replied, “The Lord needs it.” 35 They brought it to Jesus, threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it. 36 As he went along, people spread their cloaks on the road. 37 When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen: 38 “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” 39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!” 40 “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” 41 As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it 42 and said, “If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes. 43 The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. 44 They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you.”
The disciples made Him King
The people placed their cloaks on the ground paying homage to Jesus as the true King of the Jews
The Pharisees foresaw the fulfillment of Zechariah where it is written about the King coming to Jerusalem on a donkey.
Zechariah 9:9 NIV
9 Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout, Daughter Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
A time of rejoicing, instead they tried to shut the disciples up by telling Jesus to do it for them because they couldn’t for it was God’s timing.
Nothing can stop God’s timing

Recognize?

The Pharisees failed along with Jerusalem to recognize the Prince of Peace
When it is God’s timing nothing can stop it.
Jesus is the Prince of Peace
They refused to accept all the miracles that Jesus had done.
Jesus was bringing reconciliation between God and man, which brought forth peace.
Jesus Prophesies
Jerusalem the Holy City was destroyed later by Titus and not one stone was remained on top of another.
Titus ordered not to destroy it completely but the soldiers saw the gold in between the stones consequently destroying it completely.
Jesus prophecy was fulfilled in 70 AD in the Jewish rebellion
The problem was the Jewish people thought that the Messiah would deliver them from Roman rule, instead Jesus came to free us from bondage of sin and death.
Salvation was first for the Jewish people, but since they rejected it it came to the Gentiles.
The timing of Jesus is with the Gentiles who’s us now.
The world is failing to recognize the timing of God.
They will rather exalt other things and place more importance on People, Government, Science, and Entertainment to bring them peace rather than Jesus.
Things that they think will bring peace on earth just leads to more destruction and hopelessness.
It was predicted that this week will be the worse week deaths for COVID-19.
The corona-virus is taking more lives all around globally on holy week.
Is it a coincidence?
The enemy has people deceived and the people are questioning God or stop praising God especially on Holy Week where the entire world remembers all that Christ has done on earth and His finished work. To give him the highest praises to the King of Glory.
People of influence whether it be in politics, influences, family members, or friends who try make to make you stop praising Jesus or serving Him cannot do so, for even the rocks will cry out in worship.
The church of God will keep celebrating Jesus as King in their homes.
For we cannot keep quiet of all the things Jesus has done and what He is still doing now during COVID-19.

Greater Glory is yet to be revealed!
The disciples heard the instructs of the Lord concerning the donkey.
Because the disciples recognized Jesus as the true Messiah.
They mounted Jesus on the donkey signifying they were making Him King over their lives along with placing the cloaks on the ground for Jesus to ride on.
Many people fail to hear the instruction of the Lord because they do not place Jesus as their true King over their lives.
I praise God with joy because He delivered me from COVID-19 when He instructed me to get married in September last year and from letting me go from my job before this happened.
He is the King of my life, but is He to you?
Luke 19:
Luke 19:38 NIV
38 “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
