Thank you

For joining us tonight! We are so thankful that you are here.
We want to thank all of you who have helped share the word for this prayer service.
We’re almost a month into social distancing / stay at home orders / and general disruption of our society.
I was talking to one of our shepherds last night and he mentioned how he feels people are getting tired.
I agree.
There are so many conflicting news headlines.
We want to be free again, but we want to listen to those who have spent their life studying these things, as they exhort us to press forward in the quarantine.
If we’re not careful, we can get exhausted.
So, prayer is our lifeline. Prayer sustains us. Prayer connects us to God.
God has promised, I will never leave you or forsake you.
It was Paul writing in where he said, rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
And finally, in one of the most well-known pieces of Paul’s instruction on prayer we read:

do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

So again, thank you for joining us.
It is our pleasure to have shepherds and fellow preachers from some of the area congregations in Dayton join together with us tonight.
Mike Grushon serves as a shepherd for the W. Carrollton church.
Heath Rogers preaches for the Knollwood church.
Scott Tidwell is a member at the Englewood church.
We want to thank them for being here with us tonight.
And, as we go through this service, we are watching our comment section on Facebook and YouTube.
Please send in your prayer requests and we’ll include those in our service tonight.
We’re all in this together. The Kettering church has listening ears, hands ready to help, and hearts full of love and concern.
We trust in the words of our Savior, who on the night before His death promised: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let nt your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid, .
