This is a new-age theory that suggests that Jesus was emptied of His powers as God.

It comes from the Greek word “kenoo” which has two meanings:

To cause to lose power, be emptied, formally, be vain, come to nothing (Romans 4:14, 1 Corinthians 1:17, 1 Corinthians 9:15, 2 Corinthians 9:3)

To empty oneself, to divest oneself of position (Philippians 2:7)

In terms of the losing power, it always referes to a faith,
