!!! Toddler’s Rules Of Ownership
1.
If I like it, it's mine.
2.
If it's in my hand, it's mine.
3.
If I can take it from you, it's mine.
4.
If I had it a little while ago, it's mine.
5.
If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.
6.
If I'm doing or building something, all the pieces are mine.
7.
If it looks just like mine, it's mine.
8.
If I think it's mine, it's mine.
9.
If it's yours and I steal it, it's mine.
Sounds like kids but I get that feeling every once in a while relative to our elected official s
Is the blessing of God upon this nation?
Are we living under the blessing or the curse?
Would people who died for our nation in previous years consider offering the same sacrifice again?
A nation is more than a political structure or a set of geographical parameters.
It is a set of values that are worth dying for.
The highest value for many today is their own welfare because the nation does not provide a vision that captures the imagination of her people.
Law reflects but in no sense determines the moral worth of a society.
The values of a reasonably just society will reflect themselves in a reasonably just law.
The better the society, the less law there will be.
In Heaven there will be no law, and the lion will lie down with the lamb.
The values of an unjust society will reflect themselves in an unjust law.
The worse the society, the more law there will be.
In Hell there will be nothing but law, and due process will be meticulously observed.

Communism: You have 2 cows, the government takes 1 and gives you part of the milk.
Socialism: You have 2 cows, the government takes 1 cow and gives it to your neighbor.
Fascism: You have 2 cows, the government takes both, and sells you the milk.
Naziism: You have 2 cows, the government takes both and shoots you.
Bureaucracy: You have 2 cows, the government takes both, shoots one, milks one and pours milk down the drain.
Capitalism: (Of course we understand this one) you have 2 cows, you sell one, and buy a bull.
Romans 13:1 ¶ Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established.
The authorities that exist have been established by God.
2 Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong.
Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority?
Then do what is right and he will commend you.
4 For he is God's servant to do you good.
But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing.
He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.
5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience.
6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing.
7 ¶ Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honour, then honour.
*We should be extremely thankful today for what we have and the freedom that we enjoy.*

!!! World Statistics
I know we have seen this before but I think it is worth seeing every so often.........
If Earth's population was shrunk into a village of just 100 people -- with all the human ratios existing in the world still remaining -- what would
this tiny, diverse village look like?
That's exactly what Phillip M. Harter, an MD at the Stanford University School of Medicine, attempted to figure out.
This is what he found........
57 would be Asian
21 would be European
14 would be from the Western Hemisphere
8 would be African
52 would be female
48 would be male
70 would be nonwhite
30 would be white
70 would be non-Christian
30 would be Christian
89 would be heterosexual
11 would be homosexual
6 people would possess 59 percent of the entire world's wealth, and all 6 would be from the United States.
80 would live in substandard housing
70 would be unable to read
50 would suffer from malnutrition
1 would be near death
1 would be pregnant
1 would have a college education
1 would own a computer
The following is an anonymous interpretation:
Think of it this way...
If you live in a good home, have plenty to eat and can read, you are a member of a very select group.
And if you have a good house, food, can read and have a computer, you are among the very elite.
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness you are more fortunate than the million who will not survive this week.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation... you are ahead of 500 million people in the world.
If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death...you are fortunate.
More than three billion people in the world can't.
If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep...you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace...you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If your parents are still alive and still married...you are very rare, even in the United States.
If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful ... you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not.
If you can hold someone's hand, hug them or even touch them on shoulder ... you are blessed because you can offer healing touch.
If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you, and furthermore, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world who cannot read at all.
At the same time we should realize that we live in a sin-sick country.
When minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual politically-correct generalities, but what they heard instead was a stirring prayer, passionately calling our country to repentance and righteousness.
The response was immediate.
A number of legislators walked out during the prayer in protest.
In six short weeks, the Central Christian Church had logged more than 5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls responding negatively.
The church is now receiving international requests for copies
of the prayer from India, Africa and Korea.
