So What now

Thanks for being a part of camp online

the question now is so what?

The little part of the story we have been looking at is over, but the big overarching story of the Bible isnt done yet

We live in the beginning of the end of the story we are still in the middle of. We know the story isn't over yet because we aren't back in that garden paradise like the first people Adam and Eve were.

Creation, Separation, Redemption, Glorification

Jesus has promised that he will be coming back to make everything right, to wrap the story up and restore us back to that perfect relationship with God we were meant for.

So in the mean time what are we supposed to do? Our job is the same job that Jesus gave his disciples right before he went back to heaven.

Jesus hasn't changed he still has all authority on heaven and on earth so we get to go and tell other people about Jesus, and know that He will be with us till the very end.

But we don't have to do this on our own, Christians for 2000 years have been getting together to worship, pray, and hangout with each other, we get together in small groups youth groups, camps and churches.

What is a church ? The word church in the original language (greek) is ekklēsia which means assembly or gathering , so a church is a gather of Christians who meet to worship God and to look after each.

We often call the buildings we meet in “churches” but the real church, the true church is the people. That’s why we can still have church in lock down over zoom, or youtube while we wait to go back and get together in person.

Inside churches we should see people who are becoming more and more like Jesus, and who can encourage and help us to do the same.

I would encourage you all to keep on getting together with Christians in youth groups, Sunday schools, Here at camp, or at a local church.
