Good morning and welcome to Life church.
Today we continue in our series of Acts.
Now today we will be tackling an odd passage, that can easily be misunderstood when taken out of its context.
We will be in Acts 4:32-5:11
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cancer has been an issue in my family as it has been in many families.
My brother Lynn passed from cancer at the age of 7.
My father had his heart stopped by a large mass pushing against his heart.
Today we are going to see how God handles cancer in His body when that body is whole.
Now we need to understand the difference between a virus and cancer.
A virus is an outside force that attacks the body.
Cancer is the unchecked cell growth - a mutation of cells that cause them to continue in growth when they should not.
It is a cell or a group of cells that enlarges it self above its intended growth and above the rest of the cells.
It massive growth attracts other cells and begins to destroy the body.
Cancer is the body fighting and attacking itself.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Todays story shows us how cancer starts in the body of Christ and how God deals with cancer to protect the holiness of his body.
