Good Works and Eternity

Good Works in the State

God has ordained the powers that are over us

Our parents and prime ministers

By obeying we are obeying God in Heaven who truly is on the throne

Romans 13:1-3

If we do good works we do not have to fear the laws and governments

We must not be brawlers but gentle

We are to be humble before all men not thinking we are right and they are wrong but pointing all men to God

2 Timothy 2:25

Good Works after the Example of Christ

This attitude of humility and love brought the Gospel to us

We were wicked and foolish before God found us and lifted us up

God does not ask anythig from us that he has not first done himself

It was not our work but the work of another that made a difference in our life

His work was abundant for all men

So we must be abundantly loving and patient with those around us

Good Works and Rewards

This attitude and work of God brought fruit and hope to us believers

When we follow his leading and example it will be profitable to those around us

How can we be a blessing to hurting people now

By showing them love and maintaining good works in this difficult time
