SFC 2020: “Amplify”
amplify: to make larger, greater, or stronger
Victor Jackson said something interesting the other day: “The same Spirit is saying different things to different churches...”
Something I’ve noticed: during this lockdown, for many of us, our weaknesses and areas we need to work on have been, in a way, “amplified.”
And I believe that God wants to work on us in those areas, because in the end, there is one thing that He wants amplified in this world:
Mark 16:15 KJV 1900
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Jesus was asking them to amplify his gospel.
Since 1953, SFC has helped to amplify the kingdom of God.
We amplify hope through Tupelo Children’s Mansion, and Lighthouse Ranch for Boys
It amplifies life through New Beginnings Adoptions.
It amplifies the gospel through North American Missions and Global Missions.
It amplifies District Youth Ministry through camps, conventions, and other events.
The time has come for us to turn up our impact with SFC.
Last year, we broke through incredibly and doubled to over $20,000.
This year, we are setting a goal at $23,000.
Sis. LaRue and I have set a personal goal for ourselves in giving for SFC this year.
And today I am asking that you would do the same.
Of course, set a goal for your church if you have not already, but set a goal for yourself, personally.
And let’s shoot for BEYOND.
My question for you: “Will you help to amplify the gospel?”
Will you be His hands and feet???
...
I am believing that this is not only our moment, but it’s YOUR moment!
We love each and every one of you and we’re praying that God pours out revival in your youth and in your church.
