God doesn't always spare us trouble, but he walks with us as we go through it. He assured the Jews feeling from Egypt that their journey would have a good outcome. In the same way, the risen Christ appears to his disciples reassuring them that he is alive and they are not alone. In this difficult time of uncertainty, he assures us that he is with us.
