This Sunday's message is where Naomi becomes very proactive in ensuring that Jeremiah 29:11 becomes a part of Ruth's reality, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." It is obvious that Ruth didn't 'know the rules' of the Hebrew culture, but Naomi did. In "Naomi's Plans for a Future" (Ruth 3:1-6) Naomi grabs the tiger by the tail and gets things moving. This brings a question, "How long do we wait on the Lord?"
