In this story faithfulness is exemplified. Daniel was faithful in old age, in godly example (v. 5), in prayer (v. 10), in trials (v. 16), and in testimony (vv. 16, 20). As a result he was delivered (v. 22), experienced a special manifestation of the presence of the Lord (v. 22), provided an opportunity for witness to unbelievers (vv. 26–27), and was blessed (v. 28)[1]

He is the Living God
God is present in all seasons of Life during all ages

A Biblical Mindset Concerning Trials and Persecutions
· The world and its fallen nature as it is empowered by Satan is always looking for opportunities to destroy God’s people
· Not every situation you encounter will be favorable
· People are not always happy that you are succeeding by using Godly, ethical methods or standards
· Sometimes following God and living Godly is costly and can even be seen as illegal
· Not every Law is a Godly law?
· Maintaining Spiritual Discipline and faithfulness in the light of Demonic and Worldly Opposition
· You must make a determined effort to resist compromising your faith at the expense of natural comfort
· Daniel in the story never makes a self defense
God Works all Things for his Glory
The Goal for all Believers is to be a witness to the Glory of God Act 1:8
God doesn’t Promise Natural Deliverance to the believers; Heb 11:35-40
He promise that if you endure to the end you will be be saved Matt 24:13
