Perspective: Seeing things through the lense of God

Perspective: a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view;

Philippians 4:11-13:

11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. 13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

What does it mean to do all things THROUGH him who strengthens me

We do everything with an attitude of Faith

We seek God’s will and understanding as it relates to situations we are in

When we do all things through Christ, we see things and people through God’s lenses and how God see’s them

When we do things through Christ, we find contentment as we seek spiritual and the eternal vs the external material circumstances in our lives

16 So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.
