God is Sovereign even when He is Silent Pt 2

Introduction.
Learning how to Faith it until you make it in this journey of life is one of the most critical things you and I will have to learn. Having faith and living your faith out is two different things.
You see you can have faith but live faithless. We encounter certain things in our life to try our faith and to strength our faith. We expereince life and Life will have moment that will either brake you or it will make you.
WE all have pivotal moments in our lives that will either solidfy, strength, and secure our faith or it will dilute, decrease, or diminish our faith. The question really becomes can you push forward when it feels like everything is trying to push you backward. Can you hold on when you feel like letting go. Can you stay in when you feel like walking out. The reason that many of can’t keep discover our destiny is because we give up to soon. Though you may be at a breaking point in your life, make sure your heart is in the right place. Don’t focus on what has happened to you Focus on the God that lives in you!!
I was watching the NFL draft there was a story told about a young man Yetur Gross-Matos who father died trying to save him when he was two years old they were out fishing and the boat rocked he fell overboard and his father saved him, but could not save himself Then he lost his older brother Chelal Gross-Matos, he was struck by lightning on a baseball field when he was 12 years old and his older brother told him no you stay here. He said about both his father and brother. I just know if he didn’t jum into that water to save me, I wouldn’t be here right now and if my brother didn’t send me back to car I wouldn’t be her. “I’m still breathing because of him. I definitely see it as a sacrafice and I’m eternally grateful.”
What I love about the story of Yetur is that he does not give up on His Dream nor does he give up on HIs Destiny. He does not give up on God. He said in the interview that he asked God Why Him but God said nothing but God got me here today as a Carolina Pather. Such is the case in this text this Morning!
Joseph was given a dream
Gen. 37:5-10
Where Joeph shared his dream of the binding sheaves and his sheave ros and stood up right and the other bowed down to him say he would rule over his brother then he had another dream when sun and mon and eleven stars were bowing down to him.
His brother got mad, his father kept the matter in his mind.
God gave him a dream but he had to live out the interperation.
God give him a dream but then he is Silent
Can we trust What God has showed us when he hasn’t told us anything.
He doesn’t say How it is going to happen
He doesn’t say When it is going to happen
He doesn’t say Where it is going to happen
He doesn’t say Why it is going to happen
He gives 18 year olad Joseph a destiny defining dream
a life altering dream and say nothing but no that I’m in control.
God is Sovergin even when he is Silent.
You have endure Rejection but his Soverginity is your Protection
He was Hated by His Brothers! What a family dynamic they hated him. The place you look for love, the place you look for guidance. Your big brother is suppose to teach you LIFE LESSONS. You look up to your big brothers but because of his dream they despise you.
Everybody can’t handle your Dream.
Everyone Can’t handle what God is doing in your Life.
They hated him.
They put in him in a Pit
They wanted to Kill him. but really they wanted to Kill his Dream
Watch out for Dream Killers!!!!
They sold him to Gispys into Salvery!
Watch out for Sell Outs!!! They could be in your House
Joseph has to deal with rejection!!! He should have been dealing with seperation anixety. Instead he focused on the soverginity of God He understood God was in control.
2. You have to endure Challenges to your Intergity but his Soverginity is your Witness
He is sold to Potiphar’s House in look what happens
Gen. 39:2 The LORD was with Joseph so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master. When his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the LORD gave him success in everything he did Joseph found favor.
God will cause you to Prosper
God will cause you to have Success
God will cause you to have Favor.
God Soverginity is over you Situation.
I am talking to somebody today That God is Soverigen over your Situation
He has been Sold out but God is Sovergin
He has been mistreated but God is Sovergin
He has been abused but God is Sovergin
He is about to be Lied on but God is Sovergin.
Potiphars wife desired Joseph but Joseph is smart than that he let her know.
She wants to sleep him, but he say Potiphar a Good Man and I manage this house but I know it is HIS HOUSE.
I take care of the HOUSE, But he take care of the HOME.
While we are on shut down PLEASE Take care of YOUR HOUSE and YOUR HOME!!!
She accuse Joseph of rape. HE thrown into Prison.
Let me drop a foot note right Here
Gen. 39:21 The Lord was with him; he showed him kindness and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden.
Shout in your house and say you “Can’t Stop Favor”
The Lord was with Him - He doesn’t give him another dream, he doesn’t say anything God is Silent.
Don’t confuse God’s Silence with God’s Presence When he is Silent doesn’t mean he is absent. It doesn’t mean he has checked out or he has left. you
God is still present even when he Silent
His Presence is Connected to His Soveriginity
He won’t Leave you He will Carry you
3. The people you help may forget you, but God’s Soverginity will Remember you!!!
The chief cupbearer and chief baker were put into prison thy both had dreams.
Joseph interpets the dreams of both the Chief Baker and Chief Cupbeared
The both would brought out but one would be taken up and the other put down. One would be put restored to his position the other destroyed.
Just as Joseph interepted it Came to Pass!!!
I gave the all that Background to get to this Text.
God’s Soverginity is to Be Lived OUT in our Lives
He gives us Dreams and Vision the are manifested over time.
God will never forget what he told you.
He will never forget what he said.
Pharaoh has a dream nobody can interpet it
The Chief Cupbearer who is Right by his side holding Cup
in Gen. 41:39 says Today I am reminded of my shortcomings.
