Jesus is the image of the invisible God.

Jesus is a deity and Paul is confirming that Jesus is supreme - if Jesus is supreme then he is sufficient.

Jesus the second person of the God head on earth to illuminate the Glory of God. John 1:14

Notice these words Paul uses in Colossians.

“visible” (1:16), “supremacy” (1:18), “fill up” (1:24), “philosophy” (2:8), and “Deity” (2:9).

Jesus is the Creator

Colossians 1:16

Jesus is the first born of all creation and that means He is the ruler of creation.

All things exist by the hand of God and the person of Christ.

This is why the Heavens declare the Glory of God.

We can place all our burdens on Jesus

Jesus is our cure.

Jesus is supreme in creation and in redemption for any circumstance that life brings to us.
