Where Jesus is invited, empty jars are filled with eternal joy, and ceremonial ritual is fulfilled by Christ’s righteousness.

Weddings are celebrations, but they vary in size. (Our wedding, Corona-virus weddings).
It is always good to have Jesus as the guest of honor at a wedding.
They ran out of wine! A Scandal!
What have you looked to for joy and found it lacking?
Is Jesus the Guest of honor in your wedding, marriage, family, home, business, and work?

Mary seems to be in some capacity serving in the wedding feast. Maybe she is overseeing the banquet for the bridegroom’s family.
Jesus’ answer was to signify his mission. Some distance is implied between the wishes of his mother, and allegiance to the plan of the Father is communicated.
Jesus’ hour is first mentioned here to His mother. It is said to have “not yet come.”
Jesus’ hour is last mentioned to His Father, “now the hour is come.”
When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you,
Mary submitted to the direction of Jesus in trust.
“Do whatever he tells you.”
Simple faith and obedience. Trust and obey, there is no other way, to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Joy comes when we realize that Christ is our source of righteousness. Christ is our supply of strength. Christ is our security.
I bless the Lord who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me. I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure. For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption. You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
This internal joy cannot be taken away, even in the midst of great sorrow and pain.
You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,

Faith - Only Jesus can recreate from the inside out. Only Jesus fulfills the Old Testament law for purity and cleansing. Only Jesus can bring new life to the soul.
The disciples believed when the saw the sign. Jesus is Creator!
