First, God makes us into a holy people.

Second, God makes us into a united people.

- 1 Peter 2:5, “being built into a spiritual house”

- One stone does not a house make.

Third, God makes us into a sacrificial people.

- 1 Peter 2:5, “…offering spiritual sacrifices”

- Romans 12:1, “…offer your bodies as living sacrifices…”

Fourth, God makes us into a sent people.

- 1 Peter 2:9, “…that you may declare the praises of him…”

- 1 John 3:10, "...he loved us and sent his Son..."

- Luke 4:43, "I must proclaim the good news... this is why I was sent."

- John 20:21, “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you."
