Psalms 149

Praise The Lord!

Can you praise God with your all today?

Are you giving Him your high praise?

Let’s look at two areas that verse 6 addresses and see how this applies to us.

Godly Worship and Spiritual Warfare Go Hand In Hand

Your desire to honor and praise God must be joined with a strong stand against the enemy.

Can you truly lift your hands and praise God with everything that you have if you still entertain your own evil desires every other day of the week?

The enemy is constantly going around messing with you thoughts and putting things in front of you trying to appeal to your flesh to draw you away from God.

This is why we must rely on the Spirit to guide us.

God’s kingdom and His purposes will never be fully realized until the evil forces of spiritual darkness and deception are destroyed.

The way we stand against these evil forces is by standing and showing our faith in God and using the sword of the Spirit.

If we do not believe what is written in the Bible, then we cannot believe in Jesus Christ or who He is.

If we have recently been saved and filled with the Holy Spirit, you should be practicing your spiritual language in your prayer closet.

Show your faith in who He is by practicing what His Word says.

Ephesians 6:11–18 MEV

11 Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your waist girded with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 having your feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace, 16 and above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you will be able to extinguish all the fiery arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 Pray in the Spirit always with all kinds of prayer and supplication. To that end be alert with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.

These verses give us the list of what armor we should have on for the war.

This armor is to protect us from the attacks of the enemy!

Ephesians 6:11 MEV

11 Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

Verse 11 says is perfectly “…whole…Stand...”

How can your armor protect you if you are always running away from the enemy?

You need to stand and declare that:

“I am taking back what the enemy has ran me away from in my life!”

Take back your children!

Take back your peace!

Take back your spouse!

Take back your finances!

Take back your victory!

Tell the devil that you can’t have these things anymore!

Your can’t take my faith in what I know my God can do in my house, my family, my life!

Take it back right now!

In the end, Christ will win and we as His Children, will stand with Him and participate in the judgement of those who followed the anti-christ.

Give God Praise!

Praise is a powerful spiritual weapon given to us by God!

Praise honors and acknowledges God as our source of strength and power.

Praise also strengthens our faith by taking our focus off of the enemy and what he is doing to us and puts it on God and what He does for us!

It shows that we believe that God can overcome all opposition to our attempts to follow His will.

Our spiritual battles should be reminders to praise God!

When we praise God, we rob satan of his greatest weapon against us; pride, fear, and deception.

Let’s put the enemy in his place and praise God right now!

The enemy has convinced you that you cannot praise God because of what you have done in the past.

The enemy has convinced you that you cannot praise God because you cannot come to this church building.

The enemy has convinced you that you cannot praise God because you have messed up lately.

Wrong!

Wrong!

Wrong!

This is the very reason you NEED to praise Him!

Stop what you are doing right now…STOP!

Stop running!

Stop hiding!

Stop deflecting!

Praise Him!!!!
