Fear is in the air - the fear of an unknown, unseeable virus and what it might do, and the worries caused by its impact. But in the midst of it all, God says to us these words of reassurance: don't worry, I will provide. In this well-known passage from Matthew 6, Jesus shows us how knowing God's love for us, seen in his work of creation and his great plan for salvation through Christ, can calm our nerves and help us to take each day as it comes, focusing on what matters most: the kingdom of God.
