Intro

Come to the Table- Is This Seat Taken?- Jesus Always comes when He is invited, Table Manners- act in love despite differences in opinion or convictions, even if something is permissible it may not be wise or loving, act in love, act in love, ACT IN LOVE
Began to ask myself, How can I act in love?
Knowledge does not just inform us but also transforms us. Head knowledge and heart comprehension connect

See Yourself and Everyone Else From God’s Perspective

Have you ever held a newborn baby? I have held hundreds of them and it is always the same.
The first time someone held you as a newborn baby- Feel? Sound? Smell? Look?
Simultaneous overwhelming responsibility and hope for your future, wondered who you were going to become.
Mary, mother of Jesus- pondered and treasured up things in her heart. Luke 2:19, 51 These must have been significant events for her to be purposely included in scripture. Perhaps they were events that made her heart begin to comprehend what her head already knew, and she began to see her baby, her son, as the Messiah, and all the implications that meant from hundreds of years of prophesy.
People were given the privilege to raise you, but God Himself made you, He knows Every detail about you because He planned you. Far before you came to be, you were on the Guest List to accept a seat at God’s Table

1. God Made You Intentionally

Psalm 139:13 NIV
13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
In Genesis - planned, made, prepared, ordained, carved, forged
Created- bought, acquired, purchased, insisted on, brought forth
Inmost being-essential organs, the mind, most secret interior self, heart

2. God Made You Awesome

Psalm 139:14 NIV
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Praise- literally and physically throw out, extend hands in reverent worship, but also can mean intensely wring hands; cast, throw out out confession
Fearfully- inspiring awe, reverence, fear, to be awesome
Wonderfully- separate, distinguish, set apart physically or perceptually, great, difficult, hidden, a miracle
Full Well- vehemently, wholly, diligently, louder and louder
Science- louder and louder- 3 Billion Legos

3. God Knows You Completely

Psalm 139:15 NIV
15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Hidden- unknowable, ignored
Made- accomplished, appointed, offered, embroidered

Lowest parts—In a place as secret and remote from human eyes, as the lowest parts of the earth

4. Your Life Has Purpose

Psalm 139:16 NIV
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
Ordained- to press, through the squeezing into shape, to mould into a form like a potter, determine , form a resolution
You were written in God’s book, thought about, planned, before He began the process of knitting you completely together into the unique body and soul that you are FOR A PURPOSE

37 Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ i 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ j

This is referenced 9 times in scripture as one of the top greatest commandments we are given- Lev 19:18, Matt 19:19, Matt 22:39, Mark 12:31,33, Luke 10:27, Rom 13:9, Gal 5:14, James 2:8
Let’s put all this together:
For you created- bought, acquired, purchased, insisted on, brought forth, my inmost being- my mind, interior self, conscience, most secret heart; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. You Made Me Intentionally.
I praise you- sometimes literally and physically throw out, extend hands in reverent worship, but also sometimes intensely wring my hands, casting/ throwing out out confession to you
Because I am fearfully and wonderfully made- separated, distinguished, set apart physically and perceptually, hidden, a miracle inspiring awe, reverence, fear, You made me awesome
Your works are wonderful, I know that full well- vehemently, wholly, diligently, louder and louder. You Made Me Awesome.
My frame was not hidden- unknowable, ignored by You when I was made- accomplished, appointed, offered, wrought, embroidered in the secret place, where I was woven together in the depths of the earth- in a place as secret and remote from human eyes as the lowest parts of earth. You Know Me Completely.
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained- pressed, squeezed into shape, molded into form for me were written in your book- thought about, planned before you began the process of knitting me completely together into the unique body and soul that I am. My Life Has Purpose.
Are your eyes opened to how uniquely special and loved you are by God, more than our physical limited forms can possibly fathom? God Loves You. Now look around you. God purposefully made every person you see. Some of those people do not know, can’t yet see that they are loved so much or how intricately special they are. Tell Them. Share your Hope. Love Your Neighbor. The best way to love your neighbor as yourself is to let them know how much they are loved. If you are someone who feels like there is a space deep inside you that just can’t seem to be filled no matter what you try, it is because that empty space was put there by God when He planned you, and only He can fill it. You were made to be His but you have to choose to accept Him with your own free will. You are on the guest list. You just have to accept the invitation to come to the table.
Heart’s Door- Revelation 3:20

20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

Even though God made all of the secret places in your heart, you have to open the door
Admit there is sin in your heart
Believe that God sent Jesus to pay the price for your sins
Confess Jesus is Lord of you life and Commit to following His teachings, loving and serving others

In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

Repent- reconsider, think differently
Come to the Table, join the party, we are all on the Guest List, give your neighbors their invitations
