We are serving for Jesus

Why do we want to serve?

yes Jesus told us to serve other and oneanother

if we serve with passion, we can leave others brethless

English Standard Version Chapter 10

5 the food of his table, the seating of his officials, and the attendance of his servants, their clothing, his cupbearers, and his burnt offerings that he offered at the house of the LORD, there was no more breath in her.

How do we serve?

We follow his example

English Standard Version Chapter 20

You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. 26 It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, 28 even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

- Jesus showed it the best. He was serving all the people around him and his deciples

- He even washed their feet as we know

My Example

I myselve like to serve

I have a passion to serve others

But sometimes we don’t like to serve

I had this onetime in the youthservice and my youtleaders dind’t prepare anything

But I did not know until the service was about to start

So I had to take a decison do I lead the entire service with worship announcments and preching or do I just despense the meeting because of the lag of workers

I decided to serve, it was a hard work and ther have even been new people to church at this service, but at the end I was able to serve the youth during the meeting and had even very good conversations aferwards

At first I diden’t had the strength to do it, but I know that God helped me

Why —> because I was willing to serve he strengthend me

What can we learn

We are serving for Jesus

We follow his example as he even washed his deciples feets

If we are willing to serve, he gives us strength to do the work
