NLT: No one has ever seen God.

But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love has been brought to full expression through us.

*God is not visible *to us*.**

John says this 5 times!

And not just God.

It is alêtheia~/Truth which enables agapê~/love]

*Real Love for each other gives God legs**.*

*Now God IS visible.*

*Just as Jesus made Him visible.

\\ \\ **Making Him visible** We are the **Body** of Christ, Christ was the exact                                                             represtentation of the Father making Him visible, if we're                    Christ's Body we make God the Father visible to all who look at us.

1 John 4:15 All who proclaim that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.

2 John* *9Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.

Jesus as the Logos is the perfect rep of God Then our Word must be the same.

This is *binding a speaker to his word* as in a solemn promise

 

What is the teaching?

Once again it is:*

*1- Orthodox belief commensurate with His Grace.*

*2- His love in us*

*3- His love spent through us*

of God.

I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; which is /really/ not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ.

But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed!

As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed!

(ajna>qema) up + place, actually means the *offering* that is consumed by a God - by extention that which is destroyed by God's wrath.

*Biblical Christianity* is not the same thing as the religion of distorted christianity taught and practiced by many in church today.

*5-@@@*1 John 4:17-21 ~~

NASB: 17By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world.

18There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.

19We love, because He first loved us.

20If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.

21And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also.

Because we *live in love we are already* with God!

 

Why would the *current relationship with God be any different after you die*?

Because we love others unconditionally we know we are together with God therefore we *cannot possibly fear death or judgment*!

That is God's love perfected, i.e. *accomplishing it's divine purpose*.

If love is perfected in us we have complete assurance as Paul says,

 Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

That's what this means… */IF/* we have the Spirit of Truth which enables Love we have no fear!

KJV: 1Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

2By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

4For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, /even/ our faith.

5Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

NASB: 1Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and whoever loves the Father loves the /child/ born of Him.

2By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and observe His commandments.

3For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.

4For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

5Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

NLT: 1Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is a child of God.

And everyone who loves the Father loves his children, too.

2We know we love God’s children if we love God and obey his commandments.

3Loving God means keeping his commandments, and really, that isn’t difficult.

4For every child of God defeats this evil world by trusting Christ to give the victory.

5And the ones who win this battle against the world are the ones who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

Jesus *is* the Messiah.

*YET*, John keeps trying to confirm belief… Here is how you can know who is truly saved….Let's *take it back the other direction*.

They *OBEY!* Obey what?

Love God, Love each other, Love your enemies.

Now are you a true believer?

Then genna>w, Everyone believing that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and eveyone loving the one bearing loves the one having been born from him.

Genuine believers are born of God, which means you love God.

*If you love God you will also love His kid's who are in fact your brothers and sisters*!

This obedience to love is *impossible without God* in us.

God in us, His Spirit, enables us to accept His love.

This acceptance enables God Love (Agapê) in us for God Himself.

Reciprical God Love creates relationship between God and us.

Relationship allows us to know God.

Knowing God, we learn what He desires and we learn to trust Him.

Understanding what God wants and trusting that it's good enables obedience.

Obedience proves trust, which ultimately proves God Love in us.

What then do we obey?

Love God.
