Matthew 28:18–20 NKJV

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

1) The heart of any Christian should have a heart for the Lost.

Luke 10:19–20 NKJV

19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”

our authority to be witnesses comes from Jesus.

this does we worry about skill

having the right answers

i wonder if we fully realize that this power , this authority.

we may not receive the power to witness until we try to witness.

3) We are called to make disciples. We cannot make what we are not.

Matthew 28:19 NKJV

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Discipleship means that we are in relationship with Jesus.

Being a disciple means that you have a relationship with our Church fellowship.

Hebrews 13:17 NKJV

17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

real relationship has to be honest.

I am not responsible for what you do in your private life,

I am responsible for the counsel I give you.

I am responsible for what I allow in the church.

if you are not submitted to the word of God then that’s on you.

you are not a disciple if you are not in relationship.

3) Part of discipleship is being taught and observing.
