I'm Still Standing
There are times that we take living for granted. Sometimes, we set in our minds that I’m here because of my strength, Because of my capabilities to do things and make things click in my life.
But if you really would examine your life (past), go back to yesterday, last week, last month, last year, 5 years ago, you will discover that you have already gone through enough things to be gone.
There are others who have gone through less than what you went through and committed suicide. Given up on life! But you’ve made it through.

You’ve been hurt, wounded, knocked down, gone through sick spells, through sickness, buried loved ones, had to say goodbye to acquaintances, been left alone, heart has been broken. There were those who said you would not make it. But in spite of all the stuff you’ve been through you can stand and say, I’m still standing
Even though the pains hurt, even though my heart is still healing, I still have some tender spots, I’m limping and leaping, I’m leaning one sided.
My memory is still playing tricks on me. May not have as much money as I ought to have, may not have as many friends as I think I deserve.
But one thing I can say, I’m still standing. And by being here that says one thing, I still have a chance. I still have an opportunity to reach goals that I have not reached, I still have chance to get closer to God, I still have a chance to let Him use me.
You know I’ve discovered you can live a perfect life and displease some folk. But if you live life to please people you will never be happy. But if you live your life to please God you will always have joy.
If you stand with God He’ll stand with you how do I know that because out of all the things I been through, have joy. I have been hurt I'm still standing. The devil has tried to knock me off my feet, but I'm still standing it's saddens me when I see Christian as soon as they run into a little turbulence in the church or they hit an air pocket they goes into panic attacks mode they starts reaching for their air mask. God tells you that trouble will come so we should expect it to come we shouldn't be surprised when it come. You need to have to attitude that David had when he had to face Goliath his attitude was this he told that giant in his own way God prepared me for this very moment and this day God shall deliver you into my hands. Let tell you something you have been through to much to be shaken by little things. You have to tell yourself I can make it through this God said don't worry they may leave but I won't leave. Look back and remember what God has done for you. Remember how God has opened doors if He did it for you once He can do it again. No matter what comes your way when the storm is over you'll still be standing. Why because you have the DNA of the almighty God. You may go through a season of trouble but it's only temporary. Understand this when you get through your storm you'll be stronger than before. That difficulty won't defeat you it's going to promote you. So that one day you will be able to say what Paul said I have fought the good fight I have finished my course. You can say that if you are not standing so when you have done all that you can do stand. Your friends my talk about you (stand). People will lie on you (stand), People will hate you (stand). The church may turn their backs on you (stand). Jesus was lied on yet He stood He was spite on He stood He was beat yet He stood they laid Him on a cross they nail His hands they nail His feet. They pierced Him in His side yet He stood He died and on the third day morning He got up.
