The Mother Is Obligated From The Start

The old saying “Momma’s baby Daddy’s maybe”
This was before DNA testing when you had to look at the baby’s head or nose or ears trying to detect that the child was your grandchild or your son’s.
There was a Sanford and Son’s episode where one of Fred’s and Elizabeth’s old acquaintance came and declared that he was Lamont’s father. Episode aired 4 January 1974. Even though Fred called Lamont “Dummy” when another man came to claim fatherhood to Lamont, then Fred stood up and said he may be a Dummy, but he’s my Dummy. When Satan accuses us before God, Jesus is there to own us through his blood.
Now The father has the option of becoming part of the inclusion of the parenting process and ownership of the child. He has to step in and as we say step up to the obligations of fatherhood. He has to be willing to become a provider, a nurturer and a role model.
The mother however is by nature included with the conception, birth and nurture of the child. The mother will have to opt out of the responsibility of the child. She is in from the beginning and as you could say she has no choice. So unlike the male who has to willingly include himself the woman would negatively have to exclude herself.
So then is this why Mother’s Day outweighs Father'’s Day by times over.?
The caring affections of mother hood goes beyond and across racial divides, economic and social classes, religious beliefs or even animal kingdoms. For it is said that elephants are of all mammals, the best mothers of the species.

I’m Just Wired Different

Even though Jesus stated that for this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife. Meaning that the man should be an intricate part of the parenting process. However the mother is wired with overdrive chips embedded within her psychological makeup.
The man will be traditional and practical in most situations.
If the son falls and begins to cry, the man will say boy get and dust yourself off, you will be alright.
Boys fall, boys get hurt, get cuts, scratches and even broken bones. That’s part of being a boy, It makes then a man.
The mother quite to the contrary will upon hearing the cry of the child, rush to the scene of the hurt, ask the child is they all right, are they hurt, take a look at the wound, blow on it, kiss it, get band aids etc.....
The man will do all of this without getting out of his lazyboy chair.
God gave the woman His nurturing emotions and loving compassion for his creation (mankind).
See, we believe it just a woman’s thing but these are God emotions that he delegated to the woman.

God Loves Like A Mother

ISV VERSION Isaiah 66:13   Like a child whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; and you will be comforted in Jerusalem.
Luk 13:34  "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones to death those who have been sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you people were unwilling!

The Press Of The Mother

Let US Go To The Text:
The Syrophoenician Woman's Faith ISV VERSION
Mar 7:24  Jesus left that place and went to the territory of Tyre and Sidon. He went into a house, not wanting anyone to know he was there. However, it couldn't be kept a secret.
Mar 7:25  In fact, a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit immediately heard about him and came and fell down at his feet.
Mar 7:26  Now the woman happened to be a Greek, born in Phoenicia in Syria. She kept asking him to drive the demon out of her daughter.
Mar 7:27  But he kept telling her, "First let the children be filled. It is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the puppies."
Mar 7:28  But she answered him, "Yes, Lord. Yet even the puppies under the table eat some of the children's crumbs."
Mar 7:29  Then he told her, "Because you have said this, go! The demon has left your daughter."
Mar 7:30  So she went home and found her child lying in bed, and the demon was gone.
Syrophoenician Romans used this term to distinguish between the Phoenicians of Syria from the ones of North Africa named Libyo-Phoenician.
It could not be kept secret that Jesus was in town.
The facts for the unnamed woman: (a) her daughter was vexed with an unclean spirit. (b) she reacted about the news of Jesus (c) she came directly to the source of help (d) She refused to be ignored: Mat 15:22  And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
Mat 15:23  But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
Jesus then tells her I only sent to the house of Israel not the Gentiles.
A Man would have gotten into an argument with Jesus, for Gentiles were considered unclean by Jews. But a woman knows how to us wisdom to get what her child needs.
She then bowed down and worshipped Jesus.
Jesus ignored her crying for help
He ignored her pleading
He ignored her nationality
But he could not ignore her worship.
She pleaded once more for her daughters deliverance and again Jesus tested her by identifying her to a dog. He said first let the children of the master be filled I can’t give the children’s bread to the dogs first.
But the persistence of the mother could not be chained or bounded. She kept reaching for her daughter’s victory.
That’s why I say God gave the woman His intuition and emotions because with all the obstacles that were before God to forgive and redeem man He kept pressing to the cross. (a) Satan kept accusing but God kept pressing to the cross (b) Man kept sinning and being disobedient but God kept pressing to the cross.
The woman says, you can’t shame me away from my child’s deliverance.
Gentile.......Woman......Dog....... You can’t shame me out wanting to receive your anointing and blessings........
How many of you know you got some stuff that you needed because your mother didn’t have any shame in her game?...................
Jesus did not have any shame to redeem man......Heb 12:2  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Close with verse 28.......
