28 Her children rise up and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:
if we cant Honor our parents that we can see, how will we love and worship a God that we don’t see in the flesh.
all parents are sinner, so none of us is perfect. So, none of us have parented perfectly. as we Honor our mothers today there may be some women here that feel as if they lost children because of their addiction and today might feel that you don’t deserve to be celebrated.... but its not true you do deserve to be honored.
God ordained that you would be a mother. if God ordained it then who is man to criticize?
you might have to make amends for the things you have done but your role will never end. till the day that you transition you will be our mothers. even when you are in heaven your words will reach into the depths of our soul .
so if you are here today and struggling with feeling worthy please don’t. that’s guilt and shame. Guilt and shame come from the Devil.
Jesus came to bring reconciliation.
18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.
we have been given the ministry of reconciliation.

Exodus 2:1-10. Pharaoh’s Daughter was not moses mother but she loved him and raised him as his own.
6 God sets the solitary in families;
He brings out those who are bound into prosperity;
But the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
we Know that Elizabeth was not Mary’s biological mother. but she was a spiritual mother to her.
we have some elder women in the church who have loved on some younger women in the church.
if you are a spiritual mother than just as a biological is due Honor so then Spiritual mothers are worthy of Honor.
spiritual mothers are able to get things through that biological mothers can not.
3) why should we honor our mothers.
3) why should we honor our mothers.
we should honor our mothers because the Lord said we should.
we should honor our mothers because the cared for us when we could not care for our selves.
we should honor our mothers because they have been so good at caring for us that we don’t even know that they have cared for us.
we think that we did this ourselves, we did not.
