It’s easy to forget that Christians are called to proclaim Christ. Often our discipleship follows a ‘path of least resistance’ were we avoid actually proclaiming the gospel. The mission of the 72 in Luke 10 shows us that proclaiming the saviour is characteristic of true discipleship, it’s urgent, and thought it will be rejected, it’s the Lord’s harvest so we trust him for the results of our faithful proclamation.
