Lest He Fail To Know

A friend I have and lest he fail to know I pen these words

Cry out to me when dangers near and

side by side we’ll stem the tide

and crush your mighty foe

Sing to me of victories grand and

I’ll dance the dance of pride

and sing that song of joy

Whisper tears of pains untold and

To that pit of hell I’ll go, extend a hand

and rise again, pulling  you in tow

Preach of dreams that make ones spirit soar

I’ll spread the word and make it mine

till one day it’s a legend told

Call in need, what ever it may be

I’ll make the trip no matter

how the winds of change may blow

Space and time may cruelly twist and

force us  far apart 

You are my kindred spirit and you feed my lion heart
