Intro: Today as we continue in our series Family, we are going to focus on a certain particular section of the family, the High School graduates of 2020. I want to give them some word of encouragement , but also some words of advice. So here are 3 K/W Lessons to learn from the wisest man of all- King Solomon.

Understanding what trusting in God means and involves.

B. Application
Since wisdom comes from God. We have to Trust Him.
We cant trust our own Judgment and our own understanding
Word Study : Trust- be confident or sure:—be bold (confident, secure, sure), careless (one, woman), put confidence, (make to) hope, (put, make to) trust.
Illustration: Hebrew Terminology :The most significant Hebrew word for faith is aman, a root word that denotes reliability, stability, and firmness. Aman concretely meant to support or to uphold, as for example the strong arms of a parent would uphold an infant. Those arms are sure, certain, and firm. Forms of this root were used metaphorically to describe faith (a human response to God) and faithfulness

A. Exposition
This is not nod of recognition, but an intimate knowledge of God
God will make things more plain to understand.
B. Application
when we trust him and acknowledged his wisdom things seem more clear.
when we allow him to guides us, he directs us to the right path.

A. Exposition
Pride is a foolish endeavor and leads to disaster
having a correct and reverent attitude towards God and reject evil
B. Application
Young people who acquire wisdom need to remember that they did not become wise by themselves.
The essence of true knowledge is fearing God. Apart from God a person is ignorant of spiritual things.
Illustration: The opposite of wisdom is folly, meaning the short-term self-indulgence which marks out the person who doesn't think about long-term priorities and goals but lives on a day-to-day basis, asking, "What is the most fun thing to do now?"

Conclusion: we can see how wise King Solomon was. We see that putting trust in God , and also to lean on the teachings from the Bible and use the examples God gave us and try to learn from the mistakes they made and allow God to guides you!
