Let God Out

2 Timothy 2:16–17 NKJV

16 But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. 17 And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort,

When you receive a poisonous word from someone, it will infect you. You have to block it.

If you’re full of the Word, how many of you are full of the Word? And someone brings you an accusation, they might not even realize what they're doing!

Joshua 6:1–5 NKJV

1 Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. 2 And the Lord said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor. 3 You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days. 4 And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. 5 It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.”

Joshua 6:15–20 NKJV

15 But it came to pass on the seventh day that they rose early, about the dawning of the day, and marched around the city seven times in the same manner. On that day only they marched around the city seven times. 16 And the seventh time it happened, when the priests blew the trumpets, that Joshua said to the people: “Shout, for the Lord has given you the city! 17 Now the city shall be doomed by the Lord to destruction, it and all who are in it. Only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all who are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent. 18 And you, by all means abstain from the accursed things, lest you become accursed when you take of the accursed things, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it. 19 But all the silver and gold, and vessels of bronze and iron, are consecrated to the Lord; they shall come into the treasury of the Lord.” 20 So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

Questions:

Why didn’t God just knock the wall down?

Why did they need to shout?

Why were they instructed to not say a word before?

Why’d they have to walk around the wall first?

THROUGHOUT the Bible, God places massive emphasis on preaching, the Word, and speaking. Why is this?

how can they hear without a preacher? (rom 10:14)

God has chosen the foolishness of preaching (1 cor. 1:21)

Faith comes by HEARING!!! and HEARING by the Word!!!! (Romans 10:17)

Confesss with your MOUTH! (romans 10:9)

Most people leave out the take the ark before you part.

Don’t just shout, take the ark before you and shout!!!

In 1850 Michael Faraday developed a theory that space was not "nothing" but was instead a medium through which electric and magnetic forces traveled. That electric and magnetic forces did not reside in the particles affected by them, but in the space surrounding those particles.

Don’t just shout, shout the Word! The MOMENT God said to shout, the vibrations of their words became infused with power.

They had the ark in their midst. The presence of God would have fixed but the problem was that wall. God needed a way to get His presence from the Ark into that city.

THINGS ARE DIFFERENT NOW!!!

John 7:37–39 NKJV

37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” 39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

YOUR THE FOUNTAIN FROM WHICH THE HOLY SPIRIT COMES OUT INTO THE WORLD!

*most* preachers think of something they want you to hear or something they want you to do, then go looking for scriptures to support THEIR IDEAS! So in essence they’re giving you their thinking, but adding scriptures onto it.

Here’s where things will blow your mind: Jesus *is* the Word. When you’re studying Him and want to know what He’s like, you come to John 1. In the beginning was the Word.  When you’re full of the Word, you’re full of Jesus. When you speak the Word, what’s traveling out of you, is Jesus’s presence.

God’s presence is able to “ride” from within you on His Word coming out of you!

The Word was always His word to begin with. He impressed it upon people and it cone out of them onto the paper they wrote it on. A lot of it was simply writing down what Jesus said!

When the Lord told them to shout, the vibrations if their shouts became amplified with God’s power.

God’s Word can’t come out of you, if it isn't in you to begin with.

You thought your daily time in the Word was simply to read. You didnt know you were loading your spiritual gun!

I’m making this easy for you. I’m planting the Word of God in you right now. You don’t have to oreach it back! You don’t have to be eloquent. When you say “amen” that’s God’s Word coming out of you! Youre saying i received it! Youre saying it affected me! You turning the vibrations of your amen, into wrecking balls full of God’s power!

Walls are coming down at your amens tonight! Chains are being broken! Weights are being lifted! Depression is fleeing!

This is what was missing!

Preachers that don’t give you the Word, are filling you with their ideas and their thinking. It may be wise. It may be interesting, maybe even insightful, but it doesnt have God’s vibrations. It’s not infused with His power! It can’t tear down the walls of oppression! It can’t cast our the enemy! It’s nothing but the thoughts of a human mind being expressed audibly.
