In Genesis 3 we have the devastating account of man’s rebellion against God; the ultimate cause of all our present problems and pain. What catches us by surprise however is God’s response. There is judgement, but there is also love. There are consequences, but there is also grace. And in the midst is a wonderful promise of One who will one day break the curse and restore what was lost. God does not leave us in our current, helpless state. He intervenes. He acts.
