This feast began on 25th Kislev (November/December) and lasted seven days. It celebrated the cleansing of the temple and altar by Judas Maccabeus after they had been defiled by Antiochus Epiphanes.

The date of the offering of firstfruits, a celebration of God’s gift of the harvest, is not clear; it was probably held on 16th Abib.
This feast began on 15th Tishri (September/October) and lasted seven days. It celebrated the first gathering of the fruit and grain harvests and also God’s provision for his people during their wilderness journey from Egypt to the promised land.
This feast, which is not specifically mentioned as such in the OT, took place at the observance of the new moon in the month of Tishri (September/October). It signalled the end of the agricultural year.
The feast was kept from 15th-21st Abib (March/April), to commemorate the haste with which the Israelites left Egypt. It was always celebrated in the calendar of feasts with the Feast of Passover.
This feast, which took place seven weeks after Passover in Sivan (May/June), was also known as the Feast of Pentecost. It expressed joy and thankfulness to God for the harvest.
