I think I know that they were gathered in this day. That is the Sunday before Memorial Day, which is a reminder of sacrifice and and I know that's you know, we need to be mindful of that and of what has been sacrificed for our freedoms in this nation is country and many for literally around the world people from hiragana. And I'd only that it fought in World War II free people sacrificed in nose. And so I don't want to remember the sacrifice of Christ that he is that he has had for us and so as we go this morning want to read out of Romans chapter 5 verses 1 through 8, so if you have your Bible and you want to pick that up, and I'd open it up that would be good for your view on the screen. Will you be able to follow through? and in doing that and I think that that everything is just showing I believe if it's not somebody let me know if they cannot see it if it's not coming across I'll try to fix that. But but a reminder of sacrifice reading from Romans chapter 5 verses 1 through 8. Scripture says therefore being justified by faith. We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God and not only so but we glory in tribulations. Also knowing that tribulation worketh patience and patience experience and experience. Hope And hope maketh not ashamed because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost, which is given unto us. For when we were yet without Strength In Due Time Christ died for the ungodly for scarcely for a righteous man. Will one die if peradventure for a good man some would even Dare To Die. But God commendeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. Again, that's we see you as a reminder sacrifice the words of Jesus God commendeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.

There are times when we need to be reminded of the Sacrifice by others for our benefits. Some of those sacrifices may go unnoticed While others are a constant reminder. It may depend upon the circumstances surrounding each of those sacrifices.

We possibly may remember that the sacrifice of what our parents did and rearing us as we can take that for granted because that is what should be done. That's sometimes we don't think about those kinds of sacrifices, but they're there their and so we're looking at many that we just think about today and what takes place or we may remember someone outside the family that sacrificed time and energy to help you along life's journey. There are those that have come alongside us at times and then encouraged and helped us and strengthened us and watched over us and give us direction that other moving outside the family that to help us through times and sacrifices to do that. Some of you may have the experience to remember daily as one of those that gave the ultimate sacrifice of their life for our safety and our freedom was one of your family members and very close to you. We have honor to those who served before our protections and appreciate those who serve today. We need to be mindful that the sacrifice of service does not come without cost and obligation. Those who have and are serving know the call could come at any time to take them into Harm's Way yet. They serve to keep us protected. May the Lord bless and keep them in his grace and mercy is May the Lord Comfort the families of those who have given the sacrifice of life God's peace be with these families loved ones and friends this time. I'm going to show a kind of a slideshow just kind of a reflection. My granddaughter had posted this and then sometimes it speaks volumes of sacrifice. Of of what we have had so it'll take about a minute or so to go through and then I think the moment of prayer is so just in a moment of silence for these we just thank the Lord for his faithfulness.

Florida, sweetheart Taking this moment to think about those that have you the sacrifice life.

Or to those of us who have not been touched by that sacrifice. Are able to Rejoice with loved ones today? Laurie realize there are those that are out there.

That is a reminder of the sacrifice.

That their loved one gave for their country. to protect and watch over

Lord we thank you for them today. We ask Lord father that you would. Be with those who need that Comfort, but also Lord, we pray for those that are serving. Lord of their service be not in vain Lord that you would be with him that you would watch over them. that you would protect and keep and when we do, thank you. Then ask it in the name of Jesus Amen. Hey, man. Hey, man. reminder of sacrifice when we look at pictures

number 11 if we don't see them as as we laughingly heard earlier than Is sansa's brother Dennis and sister Cathy would take their children passed the cemetery where they would be in that last days and don't forget the wave.

If we're not there or we don't always have those reminders. We don't always have those reminders of that sacrifice. That is before us.

And I'm thankful today for the freedoms that I have do far too much complaining that I should have.

but there are those that serve because they want to preserve those freedoms that we have and we thank the Lord for them and we thank them for their service.

But sometimes there's another reminder of a sacrifice that we need.

I made myself a note and said I know that is a Christian. That I are we should not have to be reminded of the sacrifice that was made for our salvation. The freedom in the protections afforded through the faith in Christ, Jesus our lord. However, we are told. 2 in scripture to remember to bring to remembrance the things of the faith and sacrifice so that we do not err from the faith. those things that How many times we take for granted? And we look at it as we walk this walk as a Christian. And we're two thousand years removed from the sacrifice. of what Jesus did

but were thousands of years beyond what the Lord said that he would do when he would send a savior.

What's an entered into the world?

No, we shouldn't have to be reminded.

But we need to be reminded of the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We need to be reminded. often daily that sacrifice

what he did and what he taught us and what we should be.

the struggles that we Face sometimes because we forget Cuz we don't remember. Then we fall into temptation or we fall into sin. and we need to then we remember. We need to be more people of the faith in the sense that we would be mine mindful of what God has done to us for us through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul it reminded. The readers of the book of Romans says he has he wrote the scriptures that we read Romans 5:1 through eight kind of want to go over them a little bit just to reiterate some of what the blessing what the benefits what we should be remembering it in. This is just a shortness. There's so much more. Again, we read in verses 1 through 5. Therefore being justified by faith. We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

And not only so but we glory in tribulations also knowing that tribulation worketh patience and patience experience and experience hope and hope maketh not ashamed because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost, which is giving them to us.

Paul wants us to remember that we are justified by faith. It's not our works again. We've been studying that through Sunday school this last few weeks. about Worx Grayson, the things that the law vs. Things of of the law of Christ and I love all Moses and so we're justified by faith. It's by believing Christ. Just giving his life for us. It's by repenting of our sins that we are Justified for what Christ has done for us. We have peace with God. We've been reconciled into a holy God praise the Lord at that. We're that we have been reconciled into a holy God. We know that God could not do well or send. Well, that's why I Adam and Eve were cast out of the garden. We know that that God can't dwell in an in unrighteousness. But through Jesus Christ, we have been restored unto righteousness. We have been cleansed of sin by the blood of Jesus Hallelujah. And when we accept that we receive that by faith, you know again where we are if we into this grace wherein we stand and we should be rejoicing in the hope of the glory of God that that is around us each and every day that is around us going to literally for the rest of our lives for eternity that we have a disgrace that we have this hope that we have of Glory. Polvos on remind us that not only so but we glory in tribulations also. The struggles the trials that we go through. Why do we go through them? Sometimes it's to remind us that God is with us. It's to remind us that that we have this piece that we have this salvation that we have this hope when we enter into these times of tribulation struggles in our lives that we have a god that is with us. So that helps us and then we know that that that tribulation Works patience and obviously, you know, as follows mentioned those two things, you know, I don't doubt that maybe you and I would say well I don't like trials and I don't like tribulations and I sure don't like having to to be patient ER or waiting or long-suffering and you know, those are things that that are not in our tool chest today. They're not in our vocabulary today. We don't want those things. But Paul says when we faced Traveling face those struggles they work patients in us. They give us some experience out of that and when we experience those things within our renewed and hope if you haven't read the book of Jobe, I encourage you to go back and read that we know that they know that he went through tribulations and there was this patient struggle that he had, you know, I wanted to talk to the Lord in and out of that experience that he had. He got a new hope in one of those that he says I will see the Lord in that day. I will see him and so he knew that he was seeing she has this whole any wasn't ashamed of what he was going through Paul wasn't ashamed of the things that he suffered for Christ in some ways. We suffer these things for Christ. We suffer things for Christ when we're walking in faith when we're following God and we're in those times. God is with us and we have that. Hope they were not ashamed because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost, which is given unto us the spirit of God has freely given it to those that would call upon him in faith and believe on his name and receive him as Savior. We have it and it and it gives us a new love for others. That you know Works patience in us, you know, you know, we we can look at that. Somebody seen what kind of maybe Look Backwards a little bit that now I have I have patience because some people bring trials to me and I need patience in that and through that experience through that hole through that that we can share that with him. It's not always easy. Why don't think it was easy for Jesus to share that love because he came into simple and it wasn't easy. It was hard for him. He had to endure the markings of cruelties though the put-downs of all the days that he was here. Somebody didn't like it. Somebody didn't care for him. So they crucified him and yet he loved them. He knew what it was to love any new. What it was in the end that his desire was to redeem Mankind and to the father and to do that. He needed these things that we need in our lives that we can know the tribulation Works patience patience experience and experience hope and hope makes us not ashamed because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost, which is given unto us praise the Lord.

Paco's Auto Saver 6 that chapter 5 of Romans that for when we were yet without Strength In Due Time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely a righteous man. Will one dime get per Venture for a good man. Some would even Dare To Die. You know, we know that that is Paul is telling us that are for that we are justified by faith and we have these things that gives us hope and we had the grace that we're in didn't come without a cost. But when we were without Strength In Due Time Christ died for the ungodly not Those that love God not for those that serve God they were willing to follow God and they were going for but we also know that the word tells us for all of Santa come short of the glory of God Christ died for all of us and it says it for scarcely a righteous man will one dive get provencher a good man. Would even Dare To Die sometimes sometimes there might be someone that would stand up and give their life for A good person a good man. But Christ gave his life for the ungodly. Not the good man. But the bad man if you will the outlaw. the unruly the immoral that's who Christ died for. That was me and you that he died for?

Nobody else wants to do that. But he also wants to give their life for those. What the word says but God commendeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.

We celebrate Memorial Day. when those who served in our military Armed Forces

in an hour

communities that give their life for us

Can I serve and I do that any deserve an honor?

God commendeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. We were unworthy. We weren't good. And yet God loved us. Enough that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.

We need to remember. We need to be mindful of that. And why do we need to be mindful of that? So that we would have salvation. So that we would walk in this. So that we are mindful that those around us that need to know Jesus.

We know that Jesus died for them.

Then we would restrict that the the idea that God loves me.

and doesn't want me to have anything to do with them, but he wants me to shed. That love that's been given to me to those around me. How do we do that? What do we do we treat them with respect and honor. We care for them reach out to them.

Maybe we don't agree with them. Maybe we don't think like they think maybe we don't look like they look. Maybe we wouldn't do what they do.

But we need to love them and we need to care for them. Because God loved us while we were yet sinners. He sent his son Jesus that we might have life that we might live because she died for us. So if we would think about that as we think about the let that sink in for a minute while we were Sinners Jesus died for us.

you know, there are

again Is there someone you would die for?

And who are they? What do they mean to you?

Jesus died for us while we were Sinners we meant something to him. We were created in the image of God. And it meant something to the father to redeem us to to bring us back into right relationship with him, but the only way to do that was to send Jesus was to have Jesus come. to this earth

end of second verse of How Great Thou Art

the word says or the song says of the words of that song and when I think of God his son not sparing send him to die. I scarce can take it in. That on the cross my burden gladly bearing he bled and died to take away my sin.

It's one of those things that you and I need to be reminded of what God did.

And I think you know the gentleman that wrote that songs by Stuart Hine.

When you begin to think of what he wrote and how he wrote it in the way you put it.

It is hard for us to understand it is hard for us to two.

Take it in that God will send his son to two across the bear my burden to bear my sin.

And that he would have to die that he would have to shed his blood. That I might live that I might be redeemed. How Great Thou Art How great thou are such love has been given by Heavenly Father through the Son and the Holy Ghost.

We need to be reminded daily about it God that loves us. So and desires that none should perish without faith in Jesus or God loves us with an everlasting love hate men with up. He draws us with his loving-kindness. He desires us to come unto him.

I want to read some scriptures at most likely are very familiar to us. But I think they're very appropriate for today. As we remember the sacrifice that God sent the sacrifice of his son. And how much you loved us?

The John 3:16 through 19 the word tells us for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned, but he that believeth not is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God. And this is the condemnation that light is coming to the world and Men loved Darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.

The first part of that section that we read said God so loved us so loved the world that he gave. In the last part of that says that men loved Darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.

Not man's inclination to come to the light. But God draws us with his love with his redeeming love with his cleansing love through Jesus Christ that he that he's comes to us.

again

one of my favorite scriptures in in the word is 417 for God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.

God sent his son to save us he didn't send him to condemn us. And so we need to to rejoicing that we need to remember that when we're looking at you know, we do and we should maybe we we should we do we look at others and we see how bad they are or we see you in a while. They need Jesus. Well, let us be reminded that Jesus didn't come to condemn he came to save them and that's applicable to those outside of the body of Christ today. Those that are in our families. Those are in her or circle of friends or neighbors those that we work with that the God didn't come to can send Jesus to condemn them. He sent him to save them. That's all that we need to look at the man with with eyes of Salvation. If you will it that we would look at them that that Jesus loves them. And that that we show them the love of Jesus. Cuz the word says in verse 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned. So we're circling. We are seeking to the bring them into believing Faith. They were as we go back and re-read we said we're justified by faith and we have peace peace with God through Jesus Christ as we're justified by faith because of our belief Approve he is and what he has done for us.

But we also need to be mindful that if they have not believe on the name of Jesus. Then they are condemned to that second death separation fraternity from God and a heart should be broken or hard should be design. Best work when that Soldier goes out to where his desire is to protect those back home. We need to our desire should be to to bring to the light to be a protection unto those around us.

That they don't walk but they don't desire that they don't stay in that condemnation, but they would come to believing faith in the name of the only begotten son of God.

John went on a ride in verse 19. This is the condemnation that light is coming to the world which is Jesus and Men loved Darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. And we know that was fulfilled when Jesus went to the cross.

When they shouted from the crowds crucify him. Those words ring in our hearts just as much as they did in those that shouted that day. but because we believe Buffalo hide We have peace. with God through Jesus Christ, praise the Lord call Road in D. Letter to the Ephesians in Chapter 2 verses 4 through 7, but God who is rich in Mercy for his great love wherewith he loved us. Even when we were dead in sins have quickened us together with Christ by Grace you are saved and has raised us up together and made us sit together in Heavenly places in Christ. Jesus that in the ages to come. He might shoot you the exceeding Riches of his grace and his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. God is rich in Mercy. And he loved us. Once again, we see as Paul add written in Romans 5 while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. Eddie reminds us In this portion of scripture that even when we were dead in CNC have quick and if he has made us alive together with Christ by Grace, we are saved this again. We hear that word grace that we stand in the presence of a holy God by the grace of God that has saved us. He's raised us up together and made us sit together in Heavenly places with Jesus. That we will be with him. That we will be with him. Amen. It's not what we have done. It's what he has done and we need to be a reminder of that sacrifice. We need to be remembering that sacrifice that that Jesus did for us and not forget it not let it go, but hold on to it.

Jesus even shared a John 14 and 6. I am the way the truth and the life no man cometh unto the father, but by me.

Peter said in his

speaking of the name of Jesus

and we need to remember.

That the son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Jesus came to set the captives free. He came to heal the sick. the Rays the lame the set the captive free once again to the break the bonds that the enemy has on us on. mankind Jesus came to seek and to save the Lost.

Are we reminded of that today?

Paul was reminder that when he said that

he saved him. The poom he was the chief Center.

We can become complacent we can become compromising in our faith. We we can become agitated. We think.

That we have all the answers and if we're not careful, we we allow ourselves to become puffed up.

The god simply came to save us. And we need to be reminded. I think today that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. We need to be reminded today that Jesus came to seek us when we were in a in our in our loss to get as weak as we look back on what Paul said even when we were dead in since he has quickened us together with Christ by Grace we are saved. By Grace we are saved.

Do we hold on?

To Jesus or do we hold on to some other?

form of a belief or faith or false Doctrine instead of believing that Jesus came to save the Jesus loved us that we are mindful of his sacrifice.

Do we hear the words of Jesus when he was on the cross and they were mocking him. They were gambling over his garments. They were making sport of him. The crowds were yelling at him those ever crucified with him. We're making fun of him.

The Jesus says from the cross father forgive them for they know not what they do.

Have we forgotten that in our Salvation? Have we forgotten what we've been forgiven of? Have we forgotten?

As we saying earlier that he's saved a Wretch like Me.

It's too easy for me to compare myself.
