Scripture: 1 Samuel 1; 2:18-21

It is not an uncommon thing for people to be grieved at the high water points in the life of the church.

Mothering is a spiritual assignment

More than those for whom conception had come easy, Hannah realized that children are a gift from God.

Giving back to God is the best thing you can do when it comes to parenting.

q    God loves our children more than we ever can.

q   He knows our children better than we do

q   He sees their uniqueness more than we are able.

Samuel was raised in the presence of the Lord.

q   We make it a spiritual priority to visually demonstrate our faith before them.

q   We make it a financial priority to provide for their involvement in spiritual activity.

q   We make the time investment required to facilitate their involvement.

Not until I became a mother did I understand how much my mother had sacrificed for me. Not until I became a mother did I feel how hurt my mother was when I disobeyed. Not until I became a mother did I know how proud my mother was when I achieved. Not until I became a mother did I realize how much my mother loves me.
