The Benefits of Patience

The New King James Version Chapter 1

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,

3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Practicing Patience Produces Wisdom

Difficult Situations

Faith is tested

It’s not a pass/fail

Its a test to prepare you for your intended purpose

Are you ready for battle

Blacksmith:

putting a fine steel sword-blade in the fire until it is thoroughly tempered

Ready for its intended purpose

Passing through Tests and Fires of Life

we receive the gift of wisdom as we call out to him!

Prov 2:6

For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;

You see it is as we pass through the tests and fires of life we are to call out

In times of tests when we practice patience

We receieve the gift of wisdom as we call out to him!

True Wisdom is when we walk out the knowledge and understanding He gives us.
