Anything you anchor yourself to that isn’t Christ will only leave you feeling like you are drifting and drowning.

Something good that
The New International Version Chapter 6

19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.

Psalm
New Living Translation Psalm 18

2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;

my God is my rock, in whom I find protection.

He is my shield, the power that saves me,

and my place of safety.

The New International Version Chapter 7

24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

Gideon…why does it have to rain daddy? I dont like it. I dont really either buddy but the rain helps things grow.
I have learned and grown far more from my failures than my successes.
Sometimes you don’t realize how strong your anchor is until you are in the midst if a storm.
colossians 1
English Standard Version Chapter 1

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
